Mr. Fear's POV

After I had just shown Joey around, the phone in the office was ringing. "Go wait outside boy! I have a call to attend to!" He nodded and sat in a chair.

"Hello. This is Jason Fear. How can I help you?" I asked. Who can be calling? I don't get many calls directly to my office.

"One, two. Someone's after you. Three, four. Lock the door. Five, six. They're sick. Seven, eight. Stay up late. Nine, ten. They're not you're friend." spoke a girl in a raspy voice. I could tell she was young by her voice.

A prank. A prank? Why, of course! "Hey! When I find out who you are, you're getting detention for two weeks! Checks?" I said calmly.

Laughing broke loose on the other end. "No checks." spoke the girl in her raspy voice. "You can't, and won't find me." she confirmed. Ha! I used to be a detective! I know how to find where this call was taken. "No you won't. You can't find where this call was taken place. Maybe you can. But you won't find me. It doesn't matter if you were a detective." she laughed. How did she read my mind? "Hmm. Did I mention that? No. But you figured it out. I know where you're at and what you're doing. I might even be here." she whispered the last part. The call was now ended.

I walked toward out of my office wondering where she was. I stopped in my tracks when I noticed Joey wasn't in the chair he was in before. Where is he?! What if the girl has him?! I was silent.

A girl's evil laugh broke the silence. I watched as her shadow wondered down the hallway. My heart stopped and my blood turned cold. She's here. Right now. In my school!

I followed her shadow. I looked down the hallway just in time to see her run into one of my private rooms laughing. I took after her.

My hand stopped on the door knob. Should I go in? What if she's armed? I twisted the door knob. Maybe just a peek inside.

I was about to look in the room, when an evil girl's laugh came from down the hall. I turned to see the girl wearing a ski mask. I ran after her, closing the door behind me.

Once again, I lost her. How did she do that? "Because I can!" her raspy voice shocked me. I ran toward the voice. I stopped in front of my office. The girl was there. Singing in a raspy voice? Huh?

I turned the knob. "I caught you!" I yelled. But the room was empty.

I heard someone talking, but I couldn't see them. Then I noticed it was coming from my big black chair. I ran to the chair. Why didn't the girl run away?

I spun my chair around to come face to face with- nothing? What?! How?! Where?! Ugh. Tricky little bitch. I saw my phone and noticed there was a call taking place.

I didn't recognize the number. "Hello?" I asked. I suddenly realized it was my sister's number. "Hey Liz!" I said happily.

But the next few words that were spoken had me frozen in shock.

"I'm not sorry. Liz is not here. Leave a message at the sound of the scream." spoke a raspy girl's voice.

Just then, a blood curdling scream took place.

Liz.

Oh god! What did she do to Liz?! "Liz!" I yelled into the phone.

No response.

Oh, right. That's the message I just left her.

"Not a very kind message. That's mean. Call her again and give her a proper message." said the girl. Wait a second! Did she- is she behind me right now?! I turned around to see the girl with a ski mask.

"Not a very nice way to meet. Wouldn't you say?" she asked in her raspy voice.

Just as I got up and ran toward her, she slammed the door on my nose. I could have sworn I heard it crack! I opened the door. She's in soo much fucking trouble when I find her! I looked both ways. Where did she go?

I saw her shadow, and was about to go after her when- Crash! I crashed into Joey. "Joey! There you are! Where did you go?" I demanded. He looked at me as if something was growing out of my head. "What?" I asked.

"What happened to your head? You have a bloody cut, right above your right eye." he said. What? Bloody cut? Then I felt it. Pain shot through the cut. Joey guided me to the nurse's office.

"Oh my! What happened Mr. Fear?" she asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I really didn't know. "Oh. Well, okay. Sit down and I'll treat it." she sat me down and wiped off the blood. Then she put a huge bandage on my head. "There we go! Have a nice day!" she said. I nodded and left with Joey.

"Where were you while I was in my office?" I asked once we were out of earshot.

"I was in-" before he could finish, her evil laugh interrupted. "Wha-wha-what was that?" he asked shaking.

The Ski Mask Girl. She's back. "Darn right I am." she said. I froze. Oh right. Mind reading bull shit. "Don't call it that!" she snapped. Oh and what I do? Mind reading bullshit! Mind reading Bull-. Before I could finish, she screamed. "DON'T CALL IT THAT!!!"

Just then, she appeared at the end of the hallway, holding an axe. I exchanged glances with Joey. My blood froze.

The next thing I know, she's running down the hallway, toward Joey and I!
