"Emma... I'm so bored." Matthew complained.

It's been about 4 hours of binge watching all these Netflix movies and filling ourselves up with cookies, and other goodies Grandma Maggie made for us.

"I swear... If you put on a gorey movie... I'm going to throw up." Matt groaned as he held his stomach.

We were stuffed, stuffed from all the food we ate.

I scrolled through the different movies, until my brother had me stop at one of them.

"You really wanna watch this one?" I asked as a picture of Chucky appeared on the screen as I clicked on it.

Child's Play.

"I haven't watched that movie in a while.. But it's a classic." I chuckled lightly.

"But didn't you say you didn't want gory stuff though?" I asked him.

"Yeah I know.. I don't wanna watch it. I just wanted to check it out when I saw it on the list. It's really cool that they have it on Netflix."

I rolled my eyes with a stifled laugh.

"Says the guy who was scared of Chucky his whole life."

"I'm not scared anymore though. That was when I was like 5."

"Yeah, well.. That's good since there's nothing to really get scared of except the fact that doll curses a storm in every sentence.. If anything I thought it was comedy." I laughed.

I never found any of the Chucky movies scary at all.

But they're still pretty entertaining to watch.

"You do know Child's Play is based on an actual story of a doll though, right?" Matt inquired.

"Wait, hold up, really?"

He nodded.

"Apparently about a doll named Robert. The doll was an apparently haunted."

I snorted.

"Yeah right.. That's only in movies. You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet."

Of course, the little brat had to pull up his smartass attitude and google something on his phone, before reading it aloud word to word to me.

"According to local folklore, the doll has caused "car accidents, broken bones, job loss, divorce and a cornucopia of other misfortunes", and museum visitors supposedly experience "post-visit misfortunes" for "failing to respect Robert".

I snatched the phone away before reading it myself.

"Pfff. You really believe that crap Wikipedia says?"

"Well you sure seem to when you copy and paste from Wikipedia to use it for your homework." He pointed out.

That little-

I smacked his face with a pillow.

"Hey!" He shouted as he shield himself with his hands.

We stopped arguing when we heard knocking.

"What if it's mom? We're doomed." Matt started panicking.

"Calm down, Matt." I said to him as I grabbed his arm and went upstairs with him.

Cus better safe than sorry.

Once we got to the to top of the stairs, I peeked a little to see who it was as Grandma opened the door.

"Oh hi sweetie!" She said to the person.

Gulp.

It was Mom.
