Chapter 3: Meeting the Royal Family

The next morning I woke up in mine and Alastor's room of the hotel, I sat up as I stretched and yawn I looked over to the other side of the bed where Alastor slept and didn't see him there. “Where did he go so early?” I wondered, then I heard a knock on the door. “Come in!” I said.

Charlie then opened the door and walked in. “Good morning Kayla, I hope you slept well!” She smiled.

“Morning Charlie, and I did. But, do you know where Alastor went this morning?”

“Oh yes, he had a few things to do. But he told me to tell you not to worry, he'll be back as soon as he can.”

I didn't mind that Alastor had things to do, as long as he was careful and safe that's all that mattered to me. Sometimes I did worry about him, I knew he was powerful and that he could probably handle things himself, but their was some dangerous things in hell. “So Charlie, why did you come up here?”

Charlie smiled. “I have two people that I would like for you to meet, get ready and come downstairs when you're finished.”

A few thoughts went through my mind. “Who were these people Charlie wanted me to meet? Why did she want me to meet them?” I then hopped out of bed and got ready. After an half an hour I was ready and headed downstairs to the hotel lobby.

Charlie seen me enter the lobby. “Kayla! Finally you came down, took ya long enough.” Charlie chuckled. “Anyway Kayla, I would like for you to meet my parents, Lucifer and Lilith.” Charlie moved a hand towards them.

I was speechless as I seen the King and Queen sitting in front of me, I couldn't believe my eyes. Lucifer had a big grin on his face, he was holding his apple cane in his hand as he was sitting with one leg over the other. Lilith was sitting next to Lucifer, she then looked at me and smiled sweetly. Lucifer then got up as he walks towards me, putting a hand behind his back as he held his cane in the other.

Lucifer gave me a smile. “Ah, you must be the girl Charlie keeps telling us about. Anyway, the name's Lucifer Magne, but you may call me Lucifer.” Lucifer reached out his hand to me.

I shook his hand after I hesitated from doing so for the first few seconds. “I'm Kayla, pleasure to meet you your highness.” I gave him a smile.

“The pleasure is all mine my dear, and what a beautiful name you have if I do say so myself. And ah yes, you must be Alastor's girl. We have heard all about you, and I do want to say I'm glad our deer boy has finally found someone that makes him happy.”

“Thank you Lucifer, seeing him happy makes me happy.”

Lucifer chuckled. “Aww, how sweet. Well, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and when you two get married whenever that may be. I will do the honors in marrying you guys.”

I was shocked at this. The king of hell? Marrying me and Alastor? Just to see us happy for the rest of our lives, I just had to say yes and even if I wanted to say no I couldn't decline the king's offer.

“You would do that for me and Alastor?”

“Of course! What kind of king would I be if I didn't? Besides you're one of us now, you are kind of like family to us really.” He gave me a sweet smile.

“I would love that!” I couldn't help but to let out a small squeal as well.

Lucifer chuckled. “Splendid! And I will make sure it's the best wedding you two will ever have!”

I smiled. “Thank you so much Lucifer!”

“Its my pleasure my dear, now if you'll excuse me I must be getting back.”

Lilith stood up and walked out of the hotel with Lucifer. I wish they didn't have to go, I enjoyed their company but I knew that had important duties to do.

Charlie walked up to me after they left. “So, what did you think of my parents?”

“They're amazing!”

Charlie chuckled “I'm glad that you think so. I must get back to work, but feel free to do anything while you wait for Alastor to return.” Charlie smiled then she walked away.

I sat down on the lobby couch. As I waited for Alastor to return I grabbed my drawing paper and pencil and started to draw me and Alastor together.
