Chapter 5: Shopping

I pulled away from the kiss then I smiled softly. “So uh, how about we finish the rest of our day together?” I said.

Alastor cleared his throat. “Oh sure, of course darling!” He smiled at me.

Alastor grabbed my hand and led me into a clothes store as soon as I walked in I stared to look around. There were some pretty clothes, not to mention the dresses were quite beautiful as well. I was loving every piece of clothing and only chosen one was going to be hard to do. Alastor sat in one of the chairs to where he could relax for a bit, he watched me as I shopped and he did it with a smile on his face.

I looked around some more, finally, I found the perfect dress. I then went into the fitting room and tried it on, it was the perfect fit and I loved it. I walked out of the fitting room to show Alastor. “So Al, what do you think?”

He smiled more as seen me in the dress. “You look absolutely beautiful, darling! I think you should get it, the color suits you.”

I smiled. “Aww really? Well, since you like it so much, then I'll get it just for you.” I smiled sweetly at him.

“Wonderful!” Alastor said.

Alastor and I then went to the checkout to pay, I felt around in my pockets and looked in my purse “Shoot!” I said.

Alastor looked at me and tilted his head slightly. “What's wrong my dear?”

I looked at him. “I just realized that I don't have any money, and I spent it all to just decorate our room and what not.”

Alastor then pulled out some money from his coat and handed it to the cashier.

I seen him do this. “Oh Al, you don't have to.”

Alastor chuckled. “Its not because I HAVE to, it's because I WANT to. And if that dress makes you happy, then me getting it for you will make me even happier to see you happy.”

I hugged him. “Thank you Al, you're so sweet. You have no idea how much this means to me.”

Alastor hugged me back. “You're welcome, my rose. Now, let's get back to the hotel so that we can rest.”

I yawned. “I couldn't agree more.”

We left the clothing store and headed back to the hotel. After a long walk we were finally back home, me and Alastor went up to our room and fell onto our bed. As soon as we both got comfy Alastor pulled the blanket over us, he then cuddled me and I couldn't help but to cuddle him back. No sooner as we did this we were both out like a light.

Charlie came up to our room to check up on us, she smiled as she seen me and Alastor cuddling. Then she turned off our room light. “Goodnight you two, sleep well.” She whispered as she closed our room door quietly and headed back down to the hotel lobby.
