My family and I left to go to our yearly annual trip to Europe. Our bags already at the airport. My father brought them a few hours ahead so we had room in the car for the seven of us.

Yes, I know what your thinking. I have a big family. Not really, actually. One of my closet friends, Milly Reeves, is the oldest of thirteen children. Her being 16 and the rest being 13 and below, luckily.

But other than our to families, everyone at school also have big families. If you think we're Morman, no we're not. We're just rich. Not as in, rich big house, big property, big everything. More as in, big house, everyone has a room buddy, except me, type of rich.

I mean, yes, my father has a big company job and my mother owns a music store, but we don't have a lot of money to buy new things. All my old clothes went to every girl in the family. That's 2 and the rest are boys and they share clothes. Luckily, I get all the new clothes I want as I grow older and my body grows.

We're about 30 minutes or so from the airport when the two youngest start fighting. And I mean throwing toys and screaming at each other type fighting. The car was swerving a little bit from toys being thrown towards my father. I tried taking all the toys from them but they always ended up with more. We were going to end up crashing if this kept up.

"Children! If you keep throwing things at me, I'm going to turn this car around and we aren't going to Europe again this summer. So knock it off!" screams dad over the kids. They don't hear him.

That's when I felt a a tingle in my stomach.

"Hey dad," I call. The kids quiet a little bit for him to hear me over them.

"Yes, honey?" He asks, looking in the rear view mirror at me.

"You know how you told me once that if I feel something in my stomach, I should listen to it because it might be something bad happening? Well I'm getting that feeling... Like, right now," I say, feeling it getting stronger.

"Are you positive, Sierra? Your not getting chicken on me now, are you?" He asks, concerned.

"I'm serious daddy. Pull over and stop. Please. It's getting worse. Please, daddy," I say, almost screaming. My stomach was twisting and I was in pain.

He pulled over and I quickly got out. I leaned over and immediately threw up in the grass. All the doors were open as everyone was getting out when a semi truck drove by, the end of it crashing into the car, pushing it flat on the gravel.

Time went by slowly as I realized my family, was just killed in front of me by a semi. All noise went away. Suddenly hands shake my shoulders and sounds and time came back. Someone screaming was the first thing I heard. Tears ran down my cheeks and my nose stuffed.

Police and an ambulance were parked in front of me. Tons of cars and people stood by, watching me crying, while tears and cry's were heard through out the crowd. I then realized an officer kneeled in front of me, holding me in his arms as I cried and cried.

I slowly backed away from the officer and looked around. Sound went away again. I looked towards where the semi was and saw people covering up six bodies. My family. My mother and father. My brother's and sister's. They're all dead.

My parents were both only children, so I didn't have any other family. I was going to go into foster homes. My tears kept going and my screams dulled. My voice gone. My eyes couldn't stay open any longer. Black clouded my eyesight and I passed out.

Beep. Beep.

I tried opening my eyes but something held them closed. I groaned and heard a gasp.

"Mom? Dad? What's happening to me? Hello?! Daddy!" I scream, or more like whisper, struggling to open my eyes. I hear fast beeping. I've heard this before.

BeepBeep. BeepBeep. BeepBeep.

Hospital. Car crash. Mom and dad. Sarah, Mary, Joshua, Simon, Aaron. Dead, dead and dead.

I felt tears running down my face again. Nothing would've happened is we didn't stop. Their dead because of me.

I hear a door open and several footsteps walk closer to where I'm laying. I felt something press against my eyes and whatever held my eyelids shut was gone. My eyes blinked open and close several times before I could see.

A women, in her late 30's, sat in the chair across the room watching me. There was about two nurses in the room also, taking different things off me.

"Can you tell me your name?" one nurse asked. I read her name tag. Dr. Tark.

"Sierra. Sierra Moore." I whispered.

"How about your birthday, Sierra?"

"The 2nd of September, 2003," I said.

"Good, good. What did you do yesterday?"

It took me a few seconds to remember."I finished packing for our Europe trip and then hung out with my best friend."

"What's your best friends name?"

"Milly Reeves, I think. Yeah, Milly Reeves. That's it." I don't know why I repeated it. Or better yet, why I couldn't remember that was her name. Nothing happened to me. Right? "Did I get injured or something? I don't remember if I did. Did I? Where's my mom and dad? My siblings? Why am I here? I need to get home. Where's my cell? It was in my pocket."

Dr. Tark looked at me with sympathy. "Honey, don't you remember? Anything?"

Everything came back once again. My family was dead.

Very quietly, I said,"Their dead. Gone. Forever." Tears flowed down my cheeks again. God, I was such a crier. But right now, it was fine. My family is dead. I'm mourning.

She looked at me and nodded. "I'm sorry, Sierra. We're letting you choose if you want them buried or cremated. Take your time."

"Cremated. Separately though, please. I want them with me forever," I barely spoke.

She nodded. "I'll let them know. But before I do, Sierra, I'd like you to meet Mrs. Freeman. She's a good friend of your family and when she was called, she came immediately. She'll be keeping you until you turn 21."

"21? Why that long?"

"You may be an adult by legal age of 18, but since you don't have your legal parents, you have to be in her care by 21."

I look away, shrug and nod. "Okay, I guess."
