I'm waiting for Gavin, Tyler, and the twins when a small group of girls, walk up to me.

"So your that slut, Sierra. You taking all our boys are you? You better stay away from them, especially Tyler. Got me, bitch?" The blonde girl tells me, getting into my face. The brunette and red haired girls nods along with a chorus of yes's.

I quickly nod and move out of the way of the car door. They get in and close the door behind them. I decide to just walk home, letting the boys have the girls. I'm not even considering joining them in the car because there won't be any room for me unless I sit on Gavin's lap in the front seat. And that definitely is not happening. I walk past the school gates and onto the sidewalk. It'll take me maybe half an hour if I walk fast and if I'm lucky. An hour tops if I'm not.

My phone dings and I grab it from my back pocket, trying to see who's number it is. I put my password in and see its a message from Gavin.

Gavin(***-***-****): hey where are you?

Me(***-***-****): I'm walking home. The sun felt good so I decided on walking. have fun with the girls in the backseat :)

Gavin(***-***-****): girls? what girls? the only girls in the backseat is the twins :\

Me(***-***-****): oh... well three girls pushed me out of the way and sat in the backseat.. a blonde, a brunette, and a red haired.

Gavin(***-***-****): oh.. well where are you? what road?

Me(***-***-****): um... it's the Bear Ln

Gavin(***-***-****): oh... OH! Sierra! get out of that neighborhood! not a good place to go through alone

As he says that, I look behind me and there was about six guys following me. Their clothing hung low, and was baggy.

Me(***-***-****): what do you me- Oh, um, there's these guys following me.. Gavin!

Gavin(***-***-****): I'm driving there as fast as I can! Hold on baby!

Baby? When did this become a thing? Never mind, I should be worried about these guys before what Gavin said.

Gavin(***-***-****): S? I see you, take a left at the road in front of you and then there's a door on your left. It's unlocked, so slip inside and lock it behind you. when you hear four knocks and three afterwards that's me. don't open it if it isn't that, okay?

Me(***-***-****): yeah.

Me(***-***-****): I'm in and its locked

Gavin(***-***-****): okay good. stay there

Me(***-***-****): no need to say that twice

About ten minutes later, I hear the seven knocks on the door. I quickly rushed to the door and saw Gavin. With a busted lip and a swollen cheek.

"Gavin! Oh sweet Lord! I thought I wouldn't make it! And your face! Did you fight the guys or someone from school?" I ask quickly. He probably didn't understand anything I just said.

"It doesn't matter right now, let's go, S." I stand corrected. He did understand my weird speech.

"Yeah, uh, let's go," I copy. Then I remember what he called me a little bit ago. "Hey, uh, Gavin?"

He looks down at me as we near his car. "Yes, S?"

I look down, my shoes more interesting than his face at the moment. "Why did you call me 'baby'?" I look up to see his reaction. His ears had a pink tint to them and his cheeks were a reddish color than went down his neck.
