1st Day 💜

The sound of alarms and phone rings are racing with each other. I peek the clock at it is 7 a.m.

Looking at the phone screen I saw 5 missed calls from Reo, oh no I almost forgot about him. I think he heard all of the sounds last night since our rooms are one wall away.

"Reo good morning.. What's up?", my raspy voice came out as I slowly open my eyes, glancing at Tae Hyung who is still asleep hugging my waist

"GOOD MORNING PRINCESS. You have a quiet night I suppose, I had a really nice sleep. By the way, your dad keeps calling me. Has he called you yet?", Reo's piercing voice almost hurt my ears

My eyes are wide open as I heard dad is calling Reo, "Why? What did he ask you?"

I slowly get out of bed without waking Tae Hyung up, tip toeing to the bathroom.

"He was asking me where you are because you didn't call him yesterday and I said you were busy catching up with work. You should've thanked me big time, your dad was so presistent! I know what you have been up to, Y/N.. Hooking up with V is not a good idea at least for your dad. But you are amazing and lucky indeed! He is really handsome!"

"Reo, I am not hooking up with Tae Hyung. We are dating. You, as my assistant and my best friend, please keep this between us. Don't let my dad knows. Yet..", I try to keep down my voice

"Oh so you finally admit I am your best friend. What are you paying me off with? And I think we should have breakfast together. I will come to you in 15"

I panic, "No. Tae Hyung is still sleeping, I will wake him up first then we have breakfast okay. I will ask Tae to call RM too, at least to do you a favor. You like it, huh?"

"Oh wow, so he really does staying the night. Okay, no worries, at least play it safe.. And"

Before Reo is finishing his sentences, I see my dad is calling me, "REO, SHIT. Gotta hang up, dad is calling"

"Good morning, Dad! How are you? And mom?", keeping my voice steady and my surrounding as quiet as possible

"We are doing fine my dear. Missing you here. Anyway, you forgot to call us yesterday"

"Good to hear you both are missing me! So sorry, dad.. I was straight busy with work, you know trying to keep up.."

I can hear my mom voice is coming through from the background, "But you feel refreshed after a long break right? By the way, can we do video call now?"

"Uhm oh dad, actually I am going to to take a shower! Yes! Voice call should be fine, doesn't it?", I panic and unconsciously raised my voice

"Baby? Are you okay?", Tae Hyung is suddenly peeking into the bathroom, his husky raspy deep voice startled me. His eyes are still half closed

My dad's voice is full of curiosity, it is like he is going to jump right out the phone"Who is that, dear? Am I hearing a man's voice?"

"No no no, it is just Reo.. He is here in the morning to bring me breakfast", I signalled Tae Hyung to keep down the voice and assuring him I am okay, he heads out the bathroom in confusion

"I heard he said 'baby'. Since when Reo dares enough to call you like that?"

"No, you heard wrong dad. He said excuse me. Anyway, gotta go, okay. We have so much things to do now.. I am afraid I couldn't keep up"

"Uhm, alright then. Call us soon. Mom sends her love"

"Yep okay. Love you both! Call you guys soon. Bye"
