•••Sarah's POV•••
After class Hunter and I went to the park with Jake. Jake has dark brown hair and
piercing green eyes. Between you and me I might have a teeny crush on him. He's never been to the park so me and Hunter decide to show him around. With Jake in the middle we stroll down the side walk. Then I see the swing set. Hunter knows I love to swing on the swings. I stop dead in my tracks. "Sarah no." Hunter says. I smirk turning my head at them and take off to the swings. "Don't you guys just stand there, come push me!" I say struggling to get a rhythm. They laugh and jog toward the swings. Hunter gets behind me and starts pushing me gently. Jake plops down on the swing beside me and just sits there looking at two squirrels chasing each other up a tree. After a minute or two Hunter announces that he's going to go get a drink from the soda machine. My swing comes to a stop and I sit there next to Jake. A slight wind blows and being that it's September, I shiver. Jake looks at me. "Hey are you cold?" He ask. "A little." I say. He slips off his grey jacket and slides It onto my shoulders. "Thank you Jake." I say. After a minute of silence Jake breaks the silence. "So um.. Are you and Hunter.. you know.. Uhh dating?" He ask. I chuckle. "Nah, were just friends.." I say hoping I know where this is going. "Oh that's good." "It is?" He blushes and smiles a smile that melts my heart., showing his dimples. "Uh.. Yeah I kinda have this huge crush on you.. and umm I was wondering if we could.. go out some time?" I chuckled. Blushing more than ever I said. "Well Jake I also have a bit of a crush on you, and I would be delighted to go out some time." He smiles again, melting my heart. I see Hunter into view making his way back with a Coke.
