A Small Crush - A Melwood Story

Chapter 4

Amy's POV

This morning I saw Chris come out of Melissa's trailer and I felt myself become angry. You see Chris didn't come home with me last night like he usually does. He didn't even call or text all night. And now seeing him come out of Melissa's trailer I understand why. I think a little payback won't hurt, when he gets home tonight let's see how he feels about cheating.

Later that day

Chris's POV

After filming I was really tired and I just wanted to go to Amy's house like I always do, and just fall asleep. After a few minutes of driving, I unlock her door and walk to her room. While I was walking to her room I noticed her clothes on the floor. When I opened the door I saw her in bed with some guy. My heart dropped.

" Amy?!" I asked her starting to cry
" What, you think your the only one allowed to cheat!" She yelled and I looked at her confused
" What are you talking about, I would never cheat!" I yell back at her
" Oh really, then why didn't you come home last night. Why didn't you call or text where you were. And why were you in Melissa's trailer the next morning." She said starting to cry. The guy she was with starting to leave.
" I didn't come home because I was to tired to drive so I slept in my trailer, I fell asleep before I could text you. And I was in Melissa's trailer because we were running lines for our scenes we had." I told her and she looked at me crying even more but I didn't care because she thought I cheated and thought cheating back would solve it.
" Chris," she started but I cut her off
" No Amy, you still cheated. There's no going back. I'm sorry but we're over." I told her grabbing my stuff, and leaving not having anywhere to go because, I moved in with Amy thinking we were serious. The first person that came to mind was Melissa, so I called her.

On the phone

Chris- " hey Mel" I said crying
Mel- " Chris is everything alright" she said with concern in her voice
Chris- " no, I need a place to stay at. I had moved in with Amy and we just broke up. I don't have anywhere to stay, and you were the first person that came to mind." I explained to her trying to hold back tears.
Mel- " oh Chris, I'm so sorry. Of course you can stay with me, I have a spare bedroom in my apartment."
She told me and my heart started beating fast.
Chris- " thank you so much Mel, I'll be there in about 10 minutes." I said hanging up.

Mel's POV

Chris is coming over in about 10 minutes so I have to clean up some stuff before her gets here. After about 7 minutes I finish cleaning up and setting up the spar room for Chris.

A few minutes later

There was a knock on my door. I opened it revealing a tired looking Chris. I told him to come in and I showed him to his room.

" you can stay here as long as you'd like" I told him sitting down next to him on the bed.
" thank you so much Mel. I don't know how I'll ever repay you." I looked up and him into his eyes and smiled
" you don't need to repay me, just tell me what happened. Why did y'all break up?" I asked him while putting my hands on his.
" sh-she che-cheated on me." Is all he managed to say. I hugged him and he hugged me back.
"I'm so sorry." Is the last thing I said. We hugged for a few more minutes before I left to go to bed.

The next morning

Chris's POV

I woke up to the smell of food. I walked to the kitchen to see Melissa cooking breakfast. We didn't have to be on set until later today. She made pancakes, eggs and bacon. I walked up to the island and sat down on the stool.

"Good morning Mel." I told her. She turned around and smiled I smiled back
"Morning" she said placing a plate of food in front of me.
"Thank you" I said starting to eat, as she sat next to me with her plate of food.
"So, what do you want to do until we have to be on set?" She asked me looking into my eyes
"How about we go get some coffee and just walk around the park, then come back here and watch a movie." She nodded and smiled. After we finished eating we both got dressed and got into my car and drove to the coffee shop.

Author's POV

Melissa and Chris arrived at the coffee shop and got out the car. After they got the order they started walking towards the park. They noticed paparazzi taking pictures of them, but they both ignored it. They went to a private park where the pap couldn't follow them. They walked for a while just talking and laughing. This was the first time Chris has laughed like this in a long time. He and Amy never talked like Melissa and Chris did. After a few minutes of walking in the park they returned to Melissa's apartment and talked a while before watching a movie.

Mel's POV

Chris and I just got back to my apartment and we are about to start watching a movie but before I could ask him what movie he wants to watch he says something.

"You know those pictures the paparazzi took are going to be all over the internet saying that we're dating." He laughs and looks towards me.
"Yeah I know but it's just rumors, we can clear it up if we get asked." I said smiling.
"Yeah your right, anyways what movie should we watch." He ask while looking for snacks in my pantry.
" hmm, I thought maybe we could watch our friends tv show, like the flash or arrow." I said looking at him to see if he approves.
"I think it's a great idea. I've never watched the flash, I've only watched the arrow." I nod scrolling through Netflix until I got to the flash. We watched a few episodes of the flash until it was time to go to set. When we arrived we filmed the rest of the day before returning to my apartment together.
