A Small Crush - A Melwood Story

Chapter 6

Move in day

Chris's POV

It's been a week since Mel and I bought the house together. I'm still not completely sure how I feel about her. It's still to soon for me to start dating again, and if it was with Melissa and things go wrong then I'm not sure how we will be able to live together. So I'm going to wait until I'm ready and until I know Melissa feels the same. For now I'll just help Melissa pack up her stuff so we can move into the house.

"Mel!" I yelled from the living room.
"What is it?" She called back.
"Want me to pack everything in here up?" I asked.
"Uh yeah, put the pillows and blankets in one box and put the decorations in another." She told me.
"Ok and what about the vases." I asked her.
"Wrap them in a few bags and put them in a box." She said.
"Alright, thank you." I told her.

After packing up the living room I moved to help Mel in her room because that's the last room that needs to be packed.

"Hey Mel anything left in here to pack." I asked her, walking into her room.
"Yeah just my clothes." She said with a smile.
"Alright, I'll go grab some boxes. Just hand what to put in each box." I said leaving to grab boxes.
"Thank you so much for this Chris." She said walking up to me.
"Yeah anytime." I told her. As she got closer to me my heart started beating faster. We were now face to face. Then she gave me a hug. After she hugged me she went back to her closet to grab her clothes. About 30 minutes later we finished packing the entire apartment and we moved all the boxes into the moving truck.

20 minutes later

Mel's POV

This is the fist time we are seeing the house in person and it's beautiful. There was paparazzi outside the house because they found out that someone was moving into the house. The only problem is that everyone will think Chris and I are dating.

"Chris, the paparazzi!" I said with a worried look on my face.
"I know," he put the car in break  "hop over this into the back so no one sees you." He said.
"That's a great idea." I told him climbing into the back. " I'll crouch down a little so they don't see into to car. " I told him
" yeah ok we are pulling in." As he said that I saw a bunch of flashes taking pictures of Chris. We got through the paparazzi to the gate and got into the garage.

"Finally we made it" I said as I was getting out of the backseat.
"Yeah now all we need to do is unpack all our stuff, and most of it is yours." He said laughing.
"Hey! You know that it's all mine cause you have only stayed at my place for a week." I said hitting him on the shoulder.

4 hours later

We finally finished unpacking the most important things we needed. We are going to finish the rest tomorrow because we have to be on set at 7 for the night scenes we have. And it's 5 so we only have two hours.

"Chris we have to leave in two hours." I said knocking on his door. He opened it in only a towel around his waist. I couldn't help but stare.
"Yeah I know I just got out the shower, I'll be in the kitchen making some food for us before we leave." he said with a smile.
"U-uh ye-yeah sure, I just need to shower and get dressed and I'll be down." I told him trying not to look down at his body. He nodded and closed the door as I turned and walked away.

Chris's POV

After I closed the door I went to my closet and got dressed. I walked downstairs to make food for Mel and I before we go to set to film. After a few minutes I finished making sandwiches for us. I grabbed both sandwiches and went to the living room to watch tv as I ate.

10 minutes later

Melissa came and sat next to me on the couch and grabbed the other sandwich. We watched the flash on Netflix again, and after we finished one episode we left to go to set. After we filmed we came home and went to bed.
