A Small Crush - A Melwood Story

Chapter 9

The next morning
Mel's POV

Last night I told myself I would tell him today but I'm way to nervous to think of a way I could do it. I'll just ask Chyler maybe she could tell me a way to do it.

When I got to set I went over to Chyler's trailer, and to my surprise Chris was coming out. I was so confused, anyway I said hey to him as I walked into her trailer.

"Ugh I need to ask you something." I said plopping  on her couch. "Yeah what is it." She asked sitting next to me. "Ok so," I took a deep breath and continued "I was thinking of telling Chris how I feel about him." She gasped. "Oh my gosh Mel!" She said with an excited voice. "I just don't know how" I sighed. "Ok Mel just do it later tonight. Like just say it when it feels right." She said smiling. "Ok I'll wait until tonight, I'm so nervous what if he doesn't feel the same. Oh who am I kidding he doesn't he's probably going to think I'm crazy and he's going to move out." I said overthinking everything. "Mel calm down you'll never know what he feels if you don't tell him." She said with a small laugh. I feel like she's hiding something.

Chyler's POV

Oh my gosh I can't believe I actually kept a secret from Mel. It's ok she'll forgive me when I tell her. Let's hope he tells her before she tells him.

10 minutes before Mel showed up at my trailer

I got to set early today to go through some of my lines before shooting. After a few minutes of being in my trailer there was a knock on my door. I walked over and Chris was on the other side.

"Hey Chris what are you doing here." I asked him. "I wanted to ask for some advice about Mel." He said and I gave him a look of confusion. "Come in" I told him. He came in and sat on the couch, I sat next to him. "Si what advice do you need?" I asked. "So I'm telling you this so I can make it perfect, I um I have feelings for Mel and I don't know how to tell her. I'm scared that she won't feel the same." I started laughing I just couldn't hold it in. "Oh my gosh, how did I know." I said shaking my head. "W-what h-how?" He looked shocked. "Ok so this is a little bit of a spoiler but Mel has feelings too and ever since she told me I tried looking for signs that you felt the same way. And obviously I saw signs." He just stared at me blushing. "Ok so this is what you should do," I told him what to do and right as he was leaving Mel came in and my face turned white.

Chris's POV

After Chyler told me what to do I left and Melissa was right outside. I'm guessing she was going to run lines with her. I filmed all my scenes and finished early thank goodness. So I headed to the store to grab the supplies I needed. After almost two hours of getting everything together I texted Mel and told her I would pick her up.

The messages

Chris: hey Mel I'll pick you up today leave the car on set
Mel: oh um ok I'll be in my trailer when I'm done just come to my trailer when you get here
Chris: alright will do :)

Before I went over to set, I went home and grabbed some sweats for Mel and I changed into some sweats to match her. I then drove to set and went to Mel's trailer. I walked in and she was napping on her couch. She looked so peaceful and beautiful so I took a picture of her. Then I tapped on her shoulder to wake her up.

"Hey Mel I brought you some clothes." I whispered as she started sitting up. "Aw thank you so much." She said giving me a hug while taking the clothes. After a few minutes she came out in her sweats and a messy bun. We got in the car and I started dating to location.

"Uh Chris this is the wrong way." She said with confused look. "I know, we aren't going home. I set up something special for tonight." I said with a smile looking into her eyes. She nodded. After 20 minutes of driving we arrived and I could see Mel's eyes get wide and they started to sparkle.
