Isabelle's POV

I was still a little somewhat sore from my injuries so with my mother's help, I got dressed into a fresh set of clothes. Once I was dressed, I just stared at her in utter amazement...How was she alive? How was it possible? Was I seeing things? I couldn't be...Jon had been next to her.

"May I ask you something?" Margaery and I asked at the same time.

"You first." I said trying to get into a comfortable position on the stool that I was sat on.

"Why do you call me mother? I assumed by how you felt in King's Landing that you wouldn't want me to be your mother, yes we were like how we used to be before you left but maybe it was because of the fact we might not have seen each other again. I didn't want to say anything before you left because it felt nice...But now I am curious."

I let out a sigh and shuffled slightly on the stool. "I was shocked. All my life I had wanted a mother so bad. All I had was you and Brienne and even though I saw you both as mothers...It wasn't the same...Yet all along I had a mother and my mother was someone who had been there during most of my life, missing out the first four years and a few months after I had left Highgarden...But I'm no longer shocked, I'm not even angry. I'm happy. I'm happy that I get to have you as a mother. Even though I never knew it was you, I'm thankful you were there for me and basically raised me. I always looked at you as a mother and sometimes I wished you were...Looks like wishes do come true..Kind of."

Margaery leaned forward and grabbed my hand. "That's sweet. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I did want to but I wanted to wait until the right time. Cersei had no right to tell you, especially in the manner that she did."

"Hey." I squeezed my mother's hand gently. "I understand, and out of this, Cersei is who I hate. Not you. She is not the woman I thought she was..."

"Hmm, what was your question?"

"When I was in Essos, with Daenerys, she received a message, a message that you had died."

Margaery let go of my hand and sat back, a look of thought on her face. "A lot happened while you were away...You're not going to like it."

"Tell me."

"Cersei had gone mad at your disappearance, blaming me, blaming Ned, blaming every one she saw...She wanted revenge, so of course I was the only one she could truly hurt. She had my brother, your uncle, Loras arrested for having relations with men."

"Considering what we did...This is quite shocking."

"Indeed, I of course denied any of this...But of course, Cersei had her ways of proving Loras and I lied...We were both arrested and were to be put on trial." I watched as a half smile momentarily made an appearance on her face. "Her little plan backfired just slightly for the truth came out about her. She had previously slept with her cousin."

"What?" I asked, unsure if I heard her correctly. "She fucked her cousin?"

Mother nodded her head. "Yes, she was also accused of killing Robert but she denied that...The three of us were to be put on trial. On the day of our trial, Cersei didn't show so I knew something wasn't right. She knew the consequences yet she still wasn't there. I just had a voice telling me to run, to get out but the High Sparrow wouldn't let me, he wouldn't let any of us. I knew at that moment that I was going to die...But then, I looked down and I saw Snowy in my hands, I brought some sort of comfort with me...Snowy reminded me of you and reminded me of the promise that I made to you. So, I punched the High Sparrow and I ran. A few others followed but not all of them..I had only just made it to safety when...The Great Sept exploded with wildfire. Loras didn't make it, there were innocent people there and they died. Cersei is still alive, she thinks I'm dead..." A look of realization crossed her face and she began to laugh. "She thinks I'm dead."

The door opened and Sansa walked in, I stood up and walked towards her, quickly pulling her in for a kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too." She replied. "Can I ask you something?"

I nodded my head and waited for her question.

"I've lost you multiple times. When we were kids, when you were spending all your time with Cersei and she stopped us from seeing each other, when we got separated when Joffrey died...To now when you were dead...I don't want to find myself in another situation where I've lost you and you have been nothing more than a lover. I want to marry you, right now for I'm scared that we might not get the chance to. I don't care if we don't have a huge party, I don't care if we're not wearing fancy clothes, all I care about is you. I just want you to be mine. I don't care if no Septon will marry us, I just need to know that in my eyes and in yours, that we are married. As long as we wear a ring and as long as we are each others, then you are my wife."

I looked at Margaery and she nodded her head encouragingly.

"Yes." I said cupping Sansa's face and pecking her lips. "Let's get married."

 - - -

Seeing how it wasn't a true, formal wedding, we didn't need a Septon, Ned was the one to marry us. We had many witnesses, from the Night's Watch, to my mother, to my savior, Melisandre.

"I'm not quite sure how this goes." Ned chuckled nervously.

I just smiled a bigger smile as I looked into Sansa's eyes. My heart had felt like it turned into butterflies.

"Okay, okay. Let me see." He said trying to compose himself. "We are all gathered, to celebrate the love between Sansa and Isabelle. In front of all of these witnesses, they are sharing their love with us all. In my hand, I hold some silk." He handed the silk to me and Sansa took the other end, we wrapped it around each other's hands, until our hands met in the middle. "Lovely..Now uh..." Ned began to think but he was quickly pushed out of the way by Ser Davos.

"In the eyes of those who bear witness to this special occasion, it is great honor that I now say that, from now and until forever, you are now married, blah blah blah...Just kiss your bloody wife."

Sansa and I just laughed as we shared a sweet tender kiss, this was as good as it was going to get until we found a Sept willing to marry us...Which probably would be never but we didn't care.

We knew we were married, these witnesses knew we were married and that was good enough for us.

"Give her a proper kiss." Jon shouted, causing me to blush as many people began to laugh.

"Come here." Sansa said as she roughly pulled me close, giving me a much more passionate kiss.

Everyone cheered as Sansa and I kissed. This felt amazing.

Who would have thought, one minute you're dead the next you're married...What's next, children?

I pulled away from the kiss and hugged Sansa, looking out towards everyone who had witnessed us kind of get married...I realised now...Being with Sansa, being here with everyone..

I was home and I finally had a family.
