School passed by, for the most part, uneventfully. There was the time Saiki realized she was going to be taught by All Might himself by running into him in the hall, and boy did she smoke more than a couple cigarettes when she found herself alone during lunchtime. Regardless, things were mostly expected and dull. The mole had yet to make any suspicious moves. For the most part, class 1-A seemed like your run of the mill superpowered class. Well, besides the occasional explosive argument or quirk accident. Once able to get past her flirtatious remarks, she even made friends with a few students. Today, she sat at a lunch table with Uraraka, Midoriya, and Iida. Midoriya seemed to be very curious about her quirk, but clammed up very quickly when she compared it with his and asked a few questions of her own. Though, Saiki was not very interested in conversation that day. Instead she was scanning the windows and doors. Something was coming, but she couldn't tell what. She stood up abruptly, giving Midoriya and Uraraka playful pats on the head as the group turned to her with questioning gazes. She gave a tight grin. "I'm gonna get some fresh air. Too stuffy in here!"

Without waiting for a reply, she walked off and found her way to the school roof. Immediately, she went to the edge and lit a cigarette. The grounds were quiet during lunch, with only a few students she could see passing as she took a deep breath of smoke. Then, her gaze turned to the gate where reporters still idled restlessly, despite being told off already that morning. One person in the crowd was odd though. Surrounded by business suits and camera men, a black hoodie stood out to her like a sore thumb. The man seemed to easily make his way through the mass of reporters to the front gate, where he finally pulled a hand out of his pocket. He wore an odd black glove that only concealed his pinky finger, though he promptly took it off. Before Saiki could make any more observations, he placed his hand to the metal gate and it turned to dust beneath his fingers. The press made quick work of the entrance with no hesitation or questions, storming UA in hordes. In the process, security cameras began to blare the alarms for a Level 3: Security Breach and the windows and doors of the school were locked down. Unfortunately, this meant that the entrance to the roof was locked from the inside.

Saiki dropped her cigarette to the ground, stomping it out and making her way to the edge of the building. Seven floors, no balconies, no fire escapes. It didn't matter. This was her target's perfect opportunity and she'd be damned if she let them take it. Connecting the buildings midway were glass pathways. That was something. She took to work, taking off her skirt to reveal black shorts underneath. Once off, she took out her lighter and began melting the polyester fabric together at the waist to close it entirely. Wasting no time, she grabbed the ends of the skirt and jumped off the building with her makeshift parachute. Her trajectory slowed abruptly, almost giving her whiplash as she did her best to direct herself to the passageway roof, rolling to distribute the impact. Brushing off dirt and scrapes, she leaped again with an aim toward the grass beside the concrete path. Then, a particularly strong gust of wind blew, snapping the melted binds of the skirt and sending Saiki to the ground too quickly for her to get her bearings.

Thump!

"Arghh fuck! Not my best landing but-!" She righted herself, only paying a passing glance to her limp out of place arm. "Dislocating a limb is just a matter of putting things back into place!"

Pop!

Her face screwed up in pain and she hissed, biting the inside of her cheek. "Fucking hell! That'll wake you up on a Monday!" Though, now was hardly the time to be whining. Saiki immediately made way past the UA building to find any area that may be open. The person who destroyed the front gate was clearly not doing it just for fun. Likely a distraction, she thought before stopping in her tracks. The teachers would likely be taking care of the issue, leaving documents, information, and students inside the building unguarded. She raced to the doors of the school as her teachers came out to deal with the press, slipping through the door faster than anyone could question or stop her. Luckily, Saiki had made herself familiar with the school on the first day. UA was a fun place, but she was hired for a job and failure was not an option. Nedzu's office was unlikely seeing as he almost never left in favor of overseeing the facility, but there were a couple of file rooms on the first floor.

Saiki ran in the clear hall as students hadn't made it to the faculty floor in their evacuation yet, throwing open the first room. Nothing. She ran to the next and almost kept going until she saw a purple mist floating above one of the filing cabinets. She growled and made a move to tackle the figure, but fell to the ground.

She looked up and the mist was gone.
