Ano ang Book of Jasher?
The Book of Jasher (also spelled Jashar, Hebrew : סֵפֶר הַיׇּשׇׁר ; transliteration: sēfer
hayyāšār ), which means the Book of the Upright or the Book of the Just Man is a non-canonical book mentioned in the Hebrew Bible . The
translation "Book of the Just Man" is the traditional Greek and Latin translation, while the
transliterated form "Jasher" is found in the King James Bible, 1611.
Namention na raw ang aklat na ito sa Bibliya
And the sun stood still,
and the moon stayed, until the
people had avenged
themselves upon their
enemies. Is not this written in
the book of Jasher? So the
sun stood still in the midst of
heaven, and hasted not to go
down about a whole day( Joshua 10:13)
Also he bade them teach
the children of Judah the use
of the bow: behold, it is
written in the book of Jasher. (2 Samuel 1:18)
Ang aklat na yan ay halos pareho lang ng ikinukuwento sa aklat na Genesis
Nagsisimula ang unang kabanata niyan sa Paglikha hanggang sa Pamumuno ng mga Hukom sa Israel
For me guys, opinion ko lang ho, sa tingin ko mas detailed yan kaysa sa mga aklat ng Genesis at Book of Jubilees
May isang kwento dyan na gustong-gusto kong ibahagi sainyo...
At ang kwento na yun ay pangyayari sa buhay ni Abram(later naging Abraham na ama ni Isaac at Ismael)

Jasher 11: 16- 61
16 And Abram came to his father's house and saw
twelve gods standing there in their temples, and the
anger of Abram was kindled when he saw these
images in his father's house.
> Ayan si Abram pumunta sa bahay ni tatay nya tapos ano yung nakita nya bro sis?
TWELVE gods!
Bakit nagalit si Abram? Ano sa tingin ninyo?
17 And Abram said, As the Lord liveth these images shall not remain in my father's house; so shall the Lord who created me do unto me if in three days' time I do not break them all.
>Sabi ni Abram, "hangga't nabubuhay pa ang Panginoon, ang mga imahe na ito ay huwag nang manatili sa bahay ng aking ama, kaya ang Panginoon na lumikha sakin ay may gawin sakin kapag sa loob ng tatlong araw ay hindi ko pa winasak ang mga iyon"
So paparusahan siya ni Lord kapag di nya sinira ang mga imahen na yun?
18 And Abram went from them, and his anger
burned within him. And Abram hastened and went
from the chamber to his father's outer court, and he
found his father sitting in the court, and all his
servants with him, and Abram came and sat before
him.

Abram and said, Behold those who created us are

into the chamber of the inner court, and Abram saw,
and behold the whole room was full of gods of
wood and stone, twelve great images and others
less than they without number.

24 Now, therefore, hasten and fetch a kid from the
flock, and make of it savory meat, that I may bring
it to my father's gods as an offering for them to
eat; perhaps I may thereby become acceptable to
them.
25 And his mother did so, and she fetched a kid,
and made savory meat thereof, and brought it to
Abram, and Abram took the savory meat from his
mother and brought it before his father's gods, and
he drew nigh to them that they might eat; and Terah
his father, did not know of it.
26 And Abram saw on the day when he was sitting
amongst them, that they had no voice, no hearing,
no motion, and not one of them could stretch forth
his hand to eat.
