"Hao Ting ... wake up!" - Said Sun Bo for the umpteenth time!
Hao Ting saw his friend just above him standing staring at the body lying there. Still drowsy and a puffy eye, one could even believe that he may have even drooled a little due to the presence of saliva in his mouth that ran down the corner of his mouth. The bouquet of flowers no longer had the aesthetic of when it was purchased that morning. He looked around, a little flustered and lost, but soon remembered where he was and why he was lying there. He sighed deeply.
The friend held out his hand to help him up.
"What time is it?" - He asked as he stood up with the help of his friend. "I think I fell asleep for a few seconds."
"It's almost 6 PM." - Answered Sun Bo while looking at his watch. "And it's getting dark. I think it's more prudent for us to go back before it's completely dark."
At that momento Hao Ting was no longer paying attention to his friend, who was now beginning to suspect some dark clouds in the sky, and had started to scratch his head worried about what it might represent. He put his hands on his hips and stared at the horizon where those clouds came from. Hao Ting had bent down and started to remove some leaves and branches over that sacred mantle. Some roots had stuck in crevices in the tomb and he was trying to remove them with a small stick that he had just removed from a small pile with the dry leaves.
"How long has it been since someone cleaned up here?" - He questioned himself, more like a grumpy old man while changing his stick because the first one had broken. He tried again and it broke too. - "Sun Bo, reach me there. He pointed with his finger at a larger stick near Sun Bo's feet."
Sun Bo, was still looking at the horizon, turned in his direction.
"Hum.... What? Who... ?"
"Give me that stick over there, please."
"This one?"
"No, the other one."
"This one?"
"Not! I said huh ... gruunnnn ...."
He stood up a little apprehensive and frustrated that his friend couldn't even get a simple stick right.
"Let me get it myself ... excuse me".
"Um ... relax man!" - Asked the scolded friend.
Hao Ting went to the stick he wanted. In fact, what he got was not even what he had pointed at Sun Bo. It returned to the position it was before. With the stick he tried again to remove a smaller piece of root that impregnated near the base of the tomb. He thought it was disrespectful and needed at all costs to eliminate that little piece of root that tried to violate the corner of his eternal love. He tried and tried again.
