Griffin and i had been dating for 2 months now. He still had to go back to his college but whenever we got a chance, we would hangout. I was so much happier now. Though i did notice that Tommy has been... distant. Ever since I told them that Griffin and i were back together, he had spaced himself. It hurt, but i was happy with Griffin. He was my first love and my first heartbreak so of course i was still in love with him. He had my heart and i never wanted to let him go. I was back in town with Griffin for the holidays and we were exploring our old hometown. The lake, our old school, everything. We even saw a few old friends when we were out and about. So many memories in one place...
I held Griffins hand as we walked around town, passed the ice cream shop where we broke up, past the spot on the rooftop where he got kissed by that other girl, passed everything we had grown up with. It's crazy how fast time went by. "I love you Griffin" i said. "I love you too baby" he said and hugged me tightly. "I never want to let you go again" He whispered and kissed my forehead. I love him with my whole heart. He was my everything and will always be my everything.
We continued walking around town and stopped to have lunch with some old friends. It was good to catch up with them. We stayed at had a chat with them for a good 3 hours. Everyone was just doing new things with their lives. A good thing about these friends was that they always had information about everyone in our old class. Some had headed to New York to become actors and actresses, some joined the military and police force, some were spending every bit of money at the bar or gambling all day. It was weird to think that, all these people's true colors showed after we graduated.
