First things first: Its A Love Story

My freshman year I had a huge crush on the freshman QB, but truth be told I knew nothing about football. What I did know was that Jack Ryleston was sweet, funny, and really cute.

He took notice of me the summer of sophomore year. We started going out and it was pure magic. Jack and I had the perfect story: two innocent high school virgins madly in love, but that changed.

Jack slowly started drifting away from me. He took longer to reply to my texts every day and he had shorter conversations with me. One day he told me why.

In our third year together Jack was no longer a virgin but I was. He was in love...with someone else. He was with someone who wasn't me. I cried when Jack told me but he didn't care. He just walked away.

I didn't eat for a month and I didn't sleep for two. I just cried and cried and cried.

The only person to comfort me was Max and occasionally her parents.
Max was always there for me. I can't remember a time when she wasn't. Max was truly the best person I could have in my life. I loved her so much...but I never told her and one day it was too late.
