I met Max in sixth grade when we were 11-12 years old. We clicked instantly. You couldn't separate us. We were the sisters of all sisters. She always had my back. Especially when it came to Jack.
Three months after the break up it was time for a role switch. Now I was the one who needed to have Max's back. February 26, 2013 Max was diagnosed with cancer and she was in critical condition.
After three months in the hospital the doctors thought she was getting much better, to the point were she could go home for the first time. She would be released July 14. July 20, Max was rushed back to the hospital. The cancer wasn't gone like the doctors thought.
Because she was told she no longer needed to take medicine to treat the cancer, it was too late to save her and Max died July 26. Exactly four months after being diagnosed.
