A/N :

This is REALLY short, and I apologize but I wanted to give you guys a new chapter to thank you guys for reading my work. I'm just surprised that I even got people to read my work! Haha, I'm having a bit of writers block but I hope this will keep you guys satisfied for now. I'll most likely go back and edit this chapter to provide more details and make it longer. The chapters will gradually get longer so please bear with me. I'll also be uploading in a few days!

II.

      Beep, beep, beep...

I reach over to turn off my alarm clock, stretching in the process. After I feel my muscles start to relax, I reach for my cane and start to make my way over to the bathroom attached to my bedroom. Once I'm finished, I start to make my way out to the kitchen.

"Hi honey, how did you sleep?" my dad asks in a cheerful manner.

"It was okay," I reply, "Did you make pancakes? I smell pancakes."

"Here you are," He laughs and places a plate in front of me, "Do you need a ride to school? Hunter already left with your mom, she dropped him off on her way to work."

I don't want to go back. "Yes please."

"It'll be okay Madison. If you need anything, Hunter will be there with you. I'm just a call away too. The same thing applies with your mom." Dad says as he kisses the side of my head.

        "I hope you're right"

-

"Good morning, welcome to St. James Varsity," my teacher greets as I take a seat in the very back corner of my first class, "I'm Mr. Reed." Instead of replying, I take out my books and place them on my desk. Ignoring the people that are slowly shuffling into the classroom, I space out.

"You're in my spot," exclaims a deep voice

I wince. After the accident and what followed the accident, I've been unable to speak freely and openly to new people. Instead of answering, I ignore him.

"Are you deaf? Get out of my seat." he said again.

Everything will be okay Madison, just take a breath and count to three.

        One...Two..Three.

I stand up in order to give him his seat but bump into something solid; I hear my books fall to the ground due to the impact. Oh my god. I'm such an idiot. I kneel down to start picking up my stuff.

"Can you at least watch where you're going?" he growls at me.

I start to hyperventilate. Oh my god. I can't breathe, I can't breathe.

"What's wrong with her?" I hear someone whisper nearby.

        Everything.

"How did she not see Jensen standing right in front of her? Is she blind?"

Obviously. Who else walks around with a cane and wears glasses inside?

"Is she going to be okay?"

        No.

"It looks like shes about to faint"

        Hunter, Dad, Mom.. help.

"Hey! Look at me," I hear Jensen say, as he grabs my arm, "Are you going to be okay, or what?"

I rip my arm from his grasp and whisper, "Don't touch me." I start to wobble, feeling disorientated. He didn't have to be so rude about it, I think just before I black out.
