Chapter 4

(Adams point of view)

          I hear that dreaded knock at the door then my girlfriend rushes in. "Sorry i'm late my car wouldn't start because it was out of gas, then there was a really bad accident then- who is that?!?" She said finally spotting Justin. I stood up and took her to the other room. She was questioning me about everything. "Who is that? Where did you meet him? What is he doing here? What are you watching?" She flooded me with questions. I got so fed up and just said "Can you just stay out of my social life for one day? He's a just a friend i met at the Festival!" She seemed to calm down and put her hands on my face and said "You talk to much." She then pulled my face into a kiss. I just stood there and my heart cracked.

(Justin's point of view)

          I wanted to make sure Adam was ok so i went to the door that i saw him go into. The door was cracked open and I saw Adam kissing the girl that had just came through the door. Something inside of me broke in that second. I saw them break away from the kiss and Adam turned to leave. I quickly sprinted back to the couch and pretended to be busy eating my pizza and watching the movie. Adam came back over and said "Sorry about that." I was just feeling sick. Its stupid of me, I've only known him for a couple of days and its not like he did something to me. I don't know why i still felt hurt then. "I think i'm just gonna go home, its getting late." I said. "Oh, ok" He said looking kind of hurt. I thanked him for the food and having me over and got in my car and left. 

(Adams point of view)

          After Justin left i knew he was upset about something. I don't know if he was offended my my girlfriend coming in and interrupting us or.....wait....is it possible....that he saw the kiss? I felt my body go cold. Well great I just ruined any chances I had with him. My girlfriend sat next to me on the couch. "How about we watch this movie huh?" I turned her down as politely as i could manage and asked her to leave because i wasn't feeling well. She obliged even through she looked really annoyed. When she left i went into the bathroom and cried. Why was my life like this? Why was every chance i got ruined somehow? 

          The next day i got a text from my girlfriend.

(Texting conversation with girlfriend)

Girlfriend: Hey babe, This weekend i'm going with some friends to a resort to party and stuff see you Monday! <3

Adam: Ok have fun.

(Adams point of view)

          I decided to text Justin and maybe give it one more shot. I have all weekend to hang out with him without any disruptions.

(Texting conversation with Justin)

Adam: Hey I know you might not be feeling the best but would you like to come over tomorrow? I can explain everything and answer any questions you have. Maybe we could also finish the movie?
