I wake up to the sound of Rebekah yelling and frown, vamping downstairs where Rebekah has Elena pinned against the wall. I raise an eyebrow. "Rebekah?"

She turns to look at me, a heartbroken expression on her face. "What did you do?" I glare at Elena.

"I just told her the truth". Elena chokes out.

"Rebekah, what is she talking about?" I ask nervously. Rebekah drops her hand, releasing Elena's neck from her tight grip.

"He killed her". Rebekah says devastated. My heart drops. "Nik killed my mother". Rebekah sobs, stumbling on her feet.

"You need to leave". I say, looking at Elena angrily.

"I-". Elena begins.

"Get out!" I yell. I lose control of my magic for just a second, making the fire blare uncontrollably, it almost comes out of the fireplace. Elena jumps away from it before looking at me with fear.

"How did you do that?" Elena asks. I growl, vamping towards her making her scream. I grab her shoulders, vamping her towards the front door and i open it, throwing her out. I slam the door shut behind her, breathing heavily.

"You knew, didn't you?" Rebekah says from behind me. I turn slowly to face her.

"Rebekah...". Her glare worsens making me sigh. "Yes, Rebekah. I knew". She vamps towards her and I vamp to the other side of the room. "Rebekah, calm down".

"You lied to me, for a thousand years!" She yells, grabbing a vase off a table and throwing it at me. I dodge it quickly. Rebekah charges at me again but this time I hold still, preparing for the hit.

Her hands wrap tightly around my throat and slams me against the wall. The uncomfortable feeling of not being able to breath makes me grimace.

"How could you!? How could you lie to me?!" Tears brim her eyes. "I understand, Nik but you... i trusted you". Her voice breaks making my eyes well with tears.

"Telling you-". I wince when she tightens her grip even more. "-Would mean telling you the whole story". I choke out. "You don't want that, Rebekah. Please, trust me on that". A sob escapes her mouth before she pushes away from me.

"What are you talking about?" Rebekah asks.

"Rebekah...". I shake my head but she throws a lamp at me this time. I side step allowing the lamp to hit the brick fireplace, smashing it to pieces.

"Tell me! I have the right to know why my brother killed my mother and why you, my sister kept it from me!" She yells. I look at her before I sigh nodding reluctantly.

"Klaus killed Esther for many reasons, turning us into vampires, cursing him, denying him his real father, turning her back on him, breaking mine and Elijah's heart by killing Tatia but-". I let out a shaky breath. "Ultimately, killing our child was the last straw". Rebekah looks up at me shocked.

"W-what?"

"I-i was pregnant when Esther turned us into vampires. She knew, she knew the baby would die and that Klaus and I would never be able to-". I stop talking, not wanting to talk anymore.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asks.

"I found out the morning before we died, Esther confirmed it. She told me to wait until dinner that night to tell everyone, but before we could make it to the food, Mikael killed all of us". I pause. "And then the baby was gone". I say coldly, holding back every emotion I'm feeling.
