Going Back Home

I woke up the next morning with Kakashi pressed into my back, the sunlight peaking through his curtains, Kakashi's soft snores being carried throughout the silent room. I still wasn't sure if I fully forgive him, but he did seem very hurt by what I said, and he's been taking care of my wounds from our fight.

He told me he loved me, and I told I love him too. Granted it was with his hand down my pants, but we said none the less. I know things with Rin won't fully go away, maybe not ever, I'll just have to bare my teeth and help him through it.

I opened my eyes and saw the picture of all us as kids, it was when we all became friends, I smiled at how happy we all looked. It was before that picture was taken that they actually started to see me as a comrade and a friend.

"Hey look you guys! I did it! I hit it in the middle!" Rin jumped up and down at her small accomplishment as Kakashi, and Obito were cheering for her.

Come on, just move your feet and congratulate her on doing it.

I fought with myself for a minute and forced my feet to move, when I apporached them they all stopped cheering almost immediately. Kakashi and Obito glared at me while Rin looked terrified.

I cleared my throat and gave Rin a small smile, "Great job Rin!" I gave her a thumbs up, her eyes widened in shock, but then soon smiled and tears filled her eyes.

"R-Really? You think so?" She asked blushing a deep red. Kakashi and Obito almost feel out in shock and stared at me wide eyed.

"Y-yeah! You did great. But your stance is a little off, here let me show you."

I proceeded to show her that her feet and hips were slightly wrong and how to fix it. She did what I said and hit the middle mark on her first try.

"Holy crap! Thank you Y/N!" She yelled and hugged me tightly, I tensed for a minute not sure how to react but soon hugged her back, Kakashi and Obito joined in hugging me also, so it was like a huge group hug.

"Wow way to go Y/N!"

"Yeah! That was so cool!"

Kakashi and Obito gave me praise and my heart swelled in size. Tears actually started to fall from my eyes.

"Oh no! Don't cry Y/N! It's okay, I didn't mean to hug you." Everyone started to pull away but I pulled them back.

"Please no.. Don't let go.. Not yet.." I cried into Rin's shoulder and she hugged me even tighter, Kakashi and Obito doing the same.

"We would never let go." Kakashi said his head on my shoulder.

"Never in a million years." Obito on my other shoulder.

"We will be best friends forever. Right guys?" Rin asked smiling and giggling.

"Right!" We all said in unison, and we spent the rest of our training together, Minato Sensei smiling at us, proud that I was able to put my pride and jealousy aside and become a team player.

I sighed a happy sigh and slowly pulled myself from Kakashi's arms and stood up walking to the bathroom for a shower.

I turned on the water and waited for it to reach the perfect temperature, I pulled off my clothes and tested the water, when it was how I wanted and stepped in, closing the curtain and basking in the warm water falling down my body.

After letting warm water fall on my body, I reached for the knobs and turned the hot water off all the way, letting ice cold water wash over me. My body shivered as I sucked in a breath. The cold water cooling the hot blood that ran through my veins.
