Tears and Goodbyes

An unspoken secret

A guy was standing behind me and called new out, "Hey,  you must be the one". I looked at him confused of what he meant,  "Sorry? Who are you? ". He smiled a bit, "It's natural you don't know me. My sister doesn't talk about her family that much. But i know you. Ever since she met you, she never stopped talking about you." he walked up to me and placed his hand on my shoulder, "I can't believe you came all the way here looking for her. You really do love her, don't you?".

I wasn't sure what to say to him and I looked at him, "Does that matter?  She hates me, and doesn't want to see me anymore." He chuckled a bit,  "Is that how little faith you have on yourself? She loves you, mate. More than anything and that's also why asked you to go away. I would say the same,  but" he looked at you me, and with teary eyes faced me and said,  "I don't want you to live questioning your relationship with her. She loves you more than anything and she needs you right now,  more than anything".

I looked at him not knowing what to say, "What do you mean?  What has happened to her?" He sighed, "Its not my secret to tell. But i honestly never saw her more happy than the days you guys were together. Don't let her stay alone right now,please" with a heavy sigh, he walked away leaving me with another gloomy night.

But his words meant a lot that time and rushed in to go find you. Like usual,  you were staring outside your window and didn't notice me walking in. I walked up to you and sighed, "Are you still angry?". You noticed me and started avoiding eye contacts and looked away,  "What do you want?". Leaving a heavy sigh, I looked at you,"Hey,  I just talked to your brother and I would love if you stop pretending." Your face starts turning red with embarrassment and you stomped your feet on the ground, "I will so kill that idiot. Now,  I'm gonna tell mom about all his girlfriends and I will put a knife in his..", your voice started breaking and you collapsed down.

I rushed beside you hugging you tight breaking the fall and lifted you up to lie you down on the bed, "Hey,  stop doing that. You have a temperature. Should I go grab some meds?". As I was about to stand up, you hold my hand tightly and pulled me back,"Please don't leave me, I don't want to be alone anymore", your voice starts breaking and tears falling from your eyes.

I stood there confused not knowing how to respond. I placed my hand on top of yours and smiled a bit,  wiping the tears off. "You don't have to be alone anymore, I will never leave you." Then you somehow composed yourself and looked at me,"But you"ll have to, love. I don't have much time. Thats why I wanted you to forget me."

I sat there in disbelief not understanding anytyhing, "Hey,  don't say that,  love. What happened? What's wrong?  Tell me. We'll figure something out together." You put a soft smile on your face and looked at me, "Love, there is something i have never told anyone but you deserve to know."
