Damien's POV:

I stare at my beautiful mate as she reappears from the water, he long hair sticking to her back.

She turns around and I smile at her, she's so perfect. I wish I could keep this moment forever, she looks so happy and free.

"Damien!" She screams at me and before either of us can act I am consumed in black smoke, my body feeling as though it's being shaken like a snow-globe.

When I open my eyes we're in a cave, my head spinning.

Did we just teleport? Rex asks, shaking his head.

We sure did, that was horrible.

I look around the space, it looks like a room. A metal door with no handle and some food as furniture. I shift into my wolf, waiting for someone to come in so I can rip them to shreds. And soon enough the door opens, well crunches... into a ball.

A lady steps inside, she looks young, and I must admit she looks decent. No where near as beautiful as Layla, but she's alright.

Behind her the door springs back into position as if it was paper that you can bend at your will. I growl at her baring my teeth.

"Relax Damien, we both know you could never win this fight. Witches are far more powerful than werewolves," She rolls her eyes at me.

"Shift back, and put on some clothes. I am not talking to you naked."

I stay there thinking through my options.

"Hurry up, I don't have all day, I have things I need to do boy!"

I decide to listen and quickly put on my clothes on the side.

"Who are you and what the fuck are you doing?" I spit out.

"Oh Damien, I apologise. I forgot to introduce myself..." She lets out a laugh, well more like a cackle.

"Angina, pleased to make your acquaintance."

So this is Angina, I thought she would be some evil looking old woman, maybe with a few missing teeth and white hair. But she looked fairly young.

"You're Angina?" I ask bewildered.

"Yes, now as much as I would love to continue this conversation I have letters to write," She sends me an evil grin before leaving the same way she came.

Let me try to mind-link her, that should work.

Layla? Can you hear me?

Damien... I can barely- ... anything your say- I catch. At least we can sort of communicate, we must be too far apart.

I decide to get some rest, at least I can focus properly after that. I should be able to find a way out.

*****

"Wake up, I got breakfast. I feel like I should put on a little show for you, that way you won't be bored, eh?" Angina's scratchy voice wakes me up.

"No, I do not want to see your little 'show'," I rub my eyes and sit up from my position on the floor.

"That's a shame, I thought you would want to see how your beloved mate is doing, pity," She turns to leave.

"Wait! I want to see her."

"That's what I thought, now settle down will you," She gives me one of her sickly smiles.

I shift so I'm sitting propped up against the wall, my legs crossed in front of me.

All of a sudden sparks appear in front of me, one... two... three... seven... twenty. Then all of a sudden there is a water sort of thing in front of me, it looks like a window of liquid or something. And on the other side I see my beautiful mate, crying her eyes out.

"Damien I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry mi amor," She sits curled up on our floor surrounded by my clothes.

Tears fall down her beautiful face as she hugs her body, one of my tops hanging over her body.

"Luna, Zayn is waiting in the office," A muffled voice comes from outside the room.

I watch as my mate wipes her eyes and stuffs my clothes back in the closet plastering on a fake smile.

"Be right out Jackson thank you," She opens the door.

"No problem, I'll be outside if you need anything," He smiles before leaving.

"Let's go get dressed, we're gonna find him. No matter what I'll bring him back," She mutters to herself walking into the bathroom.

As she starts to undress the window closes.

"Well isn't she strong," Angina laughs before making her way to the door.

"I will see you later, for now I have a letter to place."

And with that she leaves, leaving me confused and hurt. My poor baby, she is strong, she's already an amazing Luna. And I'm missing it all. I sigh and stand up walking to the bowl of food in the corner, I guess we're eating cereal...

This Chapter is extremely short, but it's only because it is a filler chapter. I thought you might want to see what's going on on Damien's end, and I wanted to introduce Angina. In case you didn't get it she is a very sarcastic character and you will see just how heartless she is later on, for now she isn't too bad. If you can't picture her I was going for Maleficent vibes if you get me. I love all you my super noodles!!<3

word count: 902 (yeah really short my loves sorry)
