Jughead walked into Betty's house and saw her sleeping on the couch in Archies' arms while Cheryl played with Eve and Aero. "Hey, Cher. Can I talk to you really quick?" He asked.
Cheryl nodded and followed Jughead into the kitchen. "What's up? I thought you and Betty were-"
"She came and told me about Tallboy. But here's the thing, Tallboy was the most recent bullet purchase before Jake's death. With Betty's story, if he doesn't have an ironclad alibi he's going to prison."
    "So you found him?"
"He's down at the sheriff's station for questioning, but before I left Keller said it looks like he's our guy."
"That's amazing, now Betty can finally move on to a new chapter in her life. We all can."
Jughead nodded before hearing a loud bang from the other room and Eve began to cry. They both ran out and Betty was standing up looking very alarmed and Archie was holding Eve.
"We have to get her to a hospital, she's going to need stitches," Archie said as Eve continued to sob.
"What happened?" Cheryl asked, and Jughead grabbed his beanie and pressed it against her cut to stop the bleeding.
"They were playing tug of war and Aero accidentally let go and she fell back and hit her head," Betty explained.
Cheryl hugged her and they all ran out getting in the car. Betty and Archie sat in the front seat while Jughead held his beanie against Eve's head and Cheryl sat on the other side of Eve.
    "I feel sick." Eve moaned.
Betty passed back a plastic shopping bag and Cheryl held it open in front of Eve while she puked. "It's going to be okay Princess, " Jughead said, rubbing Eve's back.
Cheryl cringed at the puke and Betty leaned on her hands, trying now to cry. Archie pulled into the driveway of the hospital and Cheryl pulled Eve out of the car, who stopped vomiting and started to pass out.
"No, Eve, please stay awake, okay sweetie," Cheryl begged her.
    "Yes, Auntie."
They brought Eve in and the doctor immediately pulled her in to get stitches. Jughead went to the washroom to clean his beanie and Cheryl threw the bag of vomit in the garbage. Archie hugged Betty as she broke down in tears. Jughead walked back in.
    "Betty?"
    "Yeah?" She sniffled.
"We brought Tallboy into questioning. I think we got him."
Betty threw herself into Jughead's arms and cried. "Thank you, Jughead."
    "Anything I can do..."
"You've done so much for us, and I'm sorry I pushed you away. I just got scared."
"I know, I'm sorry for...for saying that. It wasn't alright. We weren't dating and you weren't over your husband. You still aren't."
She cuddled closer to his chest. "I just didn't want to hurt you and I did it to protect you."
    "I know." Jughead sighed.
"Mrs. Cooper? Are you the patient's mother?"
"Yes, I am. Is she alright?"
"Yes, she has a mild concussion. How did this happen?"
"She was playing with our dog and she fell back and hit her head."
"Okay, she will just need to drink more water and be careful. Make sure to clean around her stitches often."
    "Okay, thank you."
Eve walked out holding a male nurse's hand. "Hi, mommy."
"Hi, baby girl, how do you feel?"
Eve shrugged and raised her arms. "Uppy."
Betty lifted her up and hugged her.
"So you can all go home, just make sure you're careful with her head, especially when washing her hair." The doctor said with a smile. "Hey, aren't you Jake Peralta's wife?"
    "I am."
"Oh, I helped deliver your daughter. He was so excited."
    Betty smiled. "Yeah, he was."
"I'm sorry about what happened to him."
    "Thank you."
