Alec decided to take me shopping to get some more clothes before we left to Tom's house. I didn't know who Tom was, but I suppose I was going to find out.
"Katie!" Alec called after me, "where are you taking me?"
"To my favorite shop." I replied as I ran towards it. I could see it. I didn't know what it was called because frankly, I had never looked at the sign outside. But it was my favorite. I used to go there all time when Blake and I were still friends in year 7.He never bought anything, he usually couldn't because I would get basically everything, pay for it, and then we'd leave the shopping center. Call me crazy, but I loved that shop.
"Katie! Slow down!"
"No! I'm almost there." I replied. Then I saw the shop. Shirts. Shirts with bands on them. So many shirts. I was having a fan girl moment like I always used to.
I squealed excitedly like a stupid fan girl would, then bolted into the shop.
Nirvana. Green Day. Slipknot. The Offspring. Linkin Park. AC/DC. Bullet For My Valentine. Metallica. My Chemical Romance. Panic! At The Disco, Bring Me The Horizon! And so many, many more. Too many bands to process!!! My brain is going to explode!
I couldn't help it. I squealed. Like a fangirl. It was horrible. But I had done it.
When Alec finally caught up to me I was already at the counter paying for my shirts, jumpers and few shorts that I had decided I liked.
I was definitely turning back into the old me, but something was missing. My brother. And Blake. Those two things were important. Very important. Although Blake was gone, my brother, Harley, wasn't. I could find him. If I tried I could.
I had no idea what state he was in, but I would find him. I would get him away from my father. My stupid father who was the biggest fuckwit you could ever meet.
I don't know what mum saw in him...
Oooo~oooO
When we got back, I got changed into the oversized Slash shirt I had bought. And all I had put on underneath was a pair of panties that I had found. I didn't feel like wearing proper clothes today.
Alec had been cleaning his room, when I had just stripped down in front of him.
"What are you doing?" He asked alarmed.
"Getting dressed." I replied.
"In front of me?!"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Just because I can." I shrugged happily after I had finished changing.
"Um? Okay..." He replied, as I sat on the end of his bed watching him clean up his dirty clothes."Why is your room so dirty?" I asked.
"It's not dirty!" He exclaimed, "it's organized."
"Whatever." I replied rolling my eyes. I got up off of his bed, and walked out of his bedroom. Nirvana lifted her head as I walked past, then trotted after me, her claws clicking on the floorboards."Katie?" Alec called.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Are you going to put in some real clothes?"
"Nope." I replied popping the 'p'.
"We are going to Tom's soon. You might want to go get some actual clothes on."
"I couldn't be fucked." I replied reaching up in the cupboard looking for something to eat.
"Freakin hell! You are so lucky all the others have left."
"Meh." I shrugged grabbing a small can of soup. I knew Alec rolled his eyes before walking away. I could feel him roll his eyes.I didn't know what I was actually going to do with this can of soup. I wasn't really hungry, nor did I actually feel like soup. Still I put the soup in a black ceramic bowl and placed that into the microwave.
Oooo~oooO
Alec had somehow convinced me to put on some shorts, which could barely be seen underneath my shirt. I was sitting in his car next to him looking out the window feeling extremely bored and annoyed.
"I would have been more comfortable with no pants on." I sighed.
"Well that's too bad."
"Agh! You're so mean!" I grumbled, turning so I could face the window more.
"Oh come on. Stop it. You'll be fine."
"No. I won't."
"You'll forget about it soon enough."
"I don't think I will."
"I'm sure you will."
"I don't think I will."
"Katie."
"What?"
"Drop it."I sat there silently for about a second until I said, "errrr! I don't know how I put up with you!"
And at the very moment I knew, Alec was smirking at me.
