Chapter 2

Was the past messed up?

"And..hit!" The male in the black hoodie shouted as I punched a dummy, once in the nose, once in the stomach - I had one goal. "Destroy the enemy, got at it with all you got sugar cup!"

I landed a punch to its side, following with a punch in the gut and a round kick to the ribs. I blew out a couple of my (h/c) strands that rested on my face and wiped off the forming sweat. I took a couple of steps back and closed my eyes focusing on my attack, I gathered some wind under my left foot and reopened my eyes charging at the dummy.

I've let out a battle scream and swiped my leg in the air, the pressure of the kick, and the wind cutting off the dummies head. I smirked to myself feeling proud and stood up straight, the man walked up to me and gave me a bottle of water.

"Good job (Y/n)," he started and ruffled my hair" you're getting better each day, soon you are going to be better than me!"He puffed out

"Oh Mike don't say such things!" I felt heat creep up on my face from the compliment

"Woo-hoo way to go shorty!" I heard Yumi shout to me from the backyard

"Yeah, you've gotten stronger!" Alex shouted as well making me blush even more

"T-thank you guys, for everything!" I gave them a close eyed smile and then started to drink up my water

'damn I am really grateful for them.'

Authors POV

The little girl was wandering around the fields, not knowing what to do since her brother had to leave to work, well yes she was already used to him going away but yet nothing could surpass the feeling of loneness that crept in her little heart

She found herself sitting under a tree, singing a soft tune and listing into the sounds of nature, the (h/c) girl was enjoying herself as suddenly she felt the tree shake, something made a strong impact with the poor plant

(Y/n) stood up her big (e/c) eyes watching the movement of a male body that was getting up from the other side of the tree

"I've let you win this time Yumi." he let out a small chuckle "But next time I won't go so easy on you!" The short girl hid behind the trunk, she saw another posture heading towards the man, a more feminine build

"Awh come on Alex~" she twirled around her turquoise hair around her finger "I didn't even use 10% of my powers on you!"

"Great job Yumi," a black cloud appeared from the sky reviling yet another male with black hair and green eyes "Ah Alex, we've got an audience, mind checking it out?" he softly gestured his hand towards the tree a soft smile on his lips

The blond-haired boy nodded in acknowledgment and soon disappeared from the girls' vision, she stood there, her mouth agape as she examed the current situation she was in

Not more than a minute after, a posture appeared behind the (h/c) girl taking ahold of her and teleported both of them to his comrades. Her soft facial expression had now shock and terror written all over it

"Well, what do we have here?" The man near his twenties asked while running his fingers through his silky black hair, "What's your name darling?"

The girl stood in shock, not sure if she should stay, or run away. Slowing the gulp in her throat, she spoke up, "(Y/n), my name is (Y/n), sir"

"Aw, Mike, isn't she a cutie?" The girl with big green eyes squeaked

"I guess she is cute, but that doesn't change the fact that she saw us training." He sighed deeply, "She can tell someone about u-"
