Chapter 4

"What's up with you guys?" Calum said clicking his fingers infront of me and Luke snapping us out of whatever Trans we were stuck in.

"What? Nothing?" I snapped leaning against the car window. Michael had offered to drive and Ashton was sitting in the front, meaning Calum was left in between me and Luke.

"Luke?" Calum continued "are you okay?" Luke nodded and continued to gaze out the window. His facial expression showed he was hurt... Or guilty.

That night I couldn't sleep at all. I kept thinking about Luke and the kiss and everything. What I needed was a good sleepover. So I called Calum.

"Hello?" Calum's voice on the other side of the phone echoed into my ear.

"Hey!" I answered, he sounded tired.

"What's up?" He asked obviously trying to sound like he was wide awake.

"I need the good old fashioned sleepover!" I chuckled.

"Awesome your house or mine?"

"Mine" I replied before hanging up and going downstairs to tell mum.

The bell rang and I ran to the door excitedly. "Come in!" I said smiling as he walked in. I traveled up the stairs with him following me. He was wearing full on story time pjs and he brought a pillow.

The rules in my house for having a boy sleepover is simple... Rule one: no sleeping together (if you know what I mean) rule number two: read over rule number one!

"So what do you want to do?" Calum smiled sitting cross legged on my bed.

"I don't know. What do you want to do" I answered.

"Hmm, maybe truth or dare?" He continued.

"Yes" I answered excitedly "I'll go first! Truth or Dare?"

"Hmmm tough decision... Dare!" He answered shifting on the bed.

"I dare you to say on Twitter I LOVE Emily Ridges!" I say excitedly as I watched him get his phone out of his pocket.

My phone suddenly beeped in my pocket.

Calum had tagged me in the post.

I commented on it, saying "Can't I get a break? Just give me five seconds to enjoy this summer holiday"

"Emily! your a genius!" Calum had said hugging me.

"What did I do?" I narrowed my eyes in confusion, has he gone mentally insane.

"5 seconds of summer! That's going to be the band name!" And with that he started frantically texting the other boys.

The next day I woke up by Calum shaking me.

"Get ready, we're going to be late for school." Calum told me as I got up. I shoved on some clothes and cleaned my teeth after having breakfast and fled out to the car.

We drove to the school as fast as possible and fled to our lockers. Luckily the bell hadn't gone yet. When I arrived at my locker a tall blonde haired boy was standing there waiting for me.

He straightened up when he saw me coming.

"Uh hey... Emily!" He said shyly.

"Look I am really sorry about before I..." He continued to talk but the more I listened the more I craved for him to kiss me again, I only got a small taste last time. So I tried to block him out as much as possible.

I grabbed my books for maths and I started walking with him next to me.

"I really like you Emily!" He exclaimed. I stopped walking. I literally froze, I didn't know what to say.

"We...we're gonna to be late for class!" I took a deep breath in and continued walking along the path.

"Please! Emily give me one chance!" He stopped me.

I looked up into his soft pleading eyes.

I nodded pushing past him.

"Hurry up, we will be late." I said hiding the smile that formed on my face.

We walked into maths and sat down at our assigned tables.

I couldn't help but notice Luke always looking up at me.

"What?" I chuckled catching him staring at me.

"Nothing" he laughed turning the page of his book.

I pushed him lightly in the shoulder.

"Luke?" The teacher smiled at Luke who was startled.

"Can you repeat the question?" Luke asked cluelessly. The whole class laughed at this and the teacher shook her head in shame. Luke shrugged and started paying attention to the class.

After class we went to English with the same people in our class. Luke walked next to me and told stories about his family. It was fairly cool getting to know him more.

We got into the English classroom and of course all the seats were taken except the one next to Ben Toablay and Rachel Vandawson so I sat next to Rachel and Luke sat next to Ben.

The day continued on with nothing interesting happening, luckily tomorrow was a public holiday! I needed a break.

After school I gave Calum a lift home, as always, and met up with them to video A-team by Ed Sheeren. I have noticed their twitter seemed to be scammed with a couple of hundred 5sos fans expressing their love for the group.

"Hey" Luke's voice came from behind me as he gave me a cup of chocolate milk.

"Hey!" I said crossing my legs. When the other boys walked into the room they sat down, and we formed a circle on the carpet.

"Emily!" Calum's mum walked in gesturing me to come to her.
I lifted myself off the ground and started walking towards where she was standing.

"Yes?" I asked politely.

"I just got off the phone with your mum she said you can sleep here the night if you want! The other boys are staying the night too!" She offered and left after I nodded.

"What did she want?" Michael asked as soon as I sat down.

"She said I could stay the night!" I smiled.

"Soo... We are all staying the night?" Luke repeated. I nodded before turning my attention to Calum's mum who walked in again.

"Since Emily is sleeping over you will be sleeping on he floor right here!" She demanded and chucked five sleeping bags onto the floor.
