Hannah and John Designated surviour

Chapter 16.

Warning major SPOLIERS for series 2 coming. I've gone really off track with the show on this. But Major SPOLIERS for the back end of season 2. I didn't wanna do this but I got this idea and I love it so.. let's do it.

She hadn't seen John in days. After the number of bomb threats and other things, going home was a privilege. In the weeks that followed Alex's death, President Kirkman has barely spoken to John expect a couple of times where his advice was needed and John was taking everything okay.

Hannah had moved into John's place permanently and Chuck now properly knew that  they were together and so did Mike and other members of the white house.

After another night sleeping in her office, Hannah goes to the gym and takes a shower and changes into a pair of black trousers and new top, which she bought from the store the night before. She decides to send a text to John Forstell however he sends her one first.

5:24AM: Agent Wells I haven't seen you in that top before.

She smiles before looking around trying to see him.

5:25AM: Good morning Director. I got it last night. Where are you?

She doesn't hear his phone bleep but she feels warm arms snake around her waist pulling her into him.

"Good morning beautiful."  He saying into her ear.

She turns to face him. "Good morning handsome." She says standing on her tip toes to kiss him. When she wasn't wearing heels, she was a little shorter than him.

She wraps her arms around him and asks "I wish you came here sooner. How did you know I'd be here.?"

"Well in the last 2 and a bit months I've noticed that you like showers in the morning and that you don't like to leave your desk a mess if are going to be gone long I figured that you wouldn't be at home."

It still makes her smile that she lives with him. She blushes a little and kisses him.  "Well I'm  going to go back to my office and get  a coffee on the way."

"Why don't I come with you?"

"And why would you want to do that?" She says with a little wink.

He kisses her again and smiles. "Maybe because I've missed seeing my girlfriend over the past couple of weeks. It's been shit barely seeing you."

"I know... but I needed to John."

"Han. You are amazing at your job" He says with a smile.

She smiles back at him "Han really..."

He kisses her softly. "Yes really." 

They look into each others eyes before kissing once more. A thought crosses Hannah's mind and she laughs.

"What's up?"

"Just thinking about what I can call you."

"What was it you used to call me a couple of years back?"  He says with a smile.

Hannah looks to the ground. She looks back up at him. "The... the one that got away... I thought you hated me."

"Are you talking about when I warned you about going with Jason?"

"Yeah...." She says looking back at the ground.

"We are on the same side Hannah I was looking out for you." He says taking his phone out of his pocket. He looks at his phone for about 2 minutes before showing her the phone. It shows a text conversation with John's brother.

"That i was telling Matty about you. He would have loved you. He always said that I would try and be with you."

"I think she hates me Matt. He massages you and says that she doesnt hate you she hates what you said and you replied that you were only doing what you did because you love me and can't lose me." She says looking back to him.

"Yeah... I loved you back then. I gave up on it because I didn't think you wanted me."

"Now look at us." She says with a little chuckle.

"Did you ever think that this would happen?"

"No but what I do know is that we need to go. We've got work to do."

"Okay. I love you." He says kissing her.

"I love you too."

She heads back to her office.

2pm was the start of something that Hannah Wells would never forget.
