Dylan's POV.
"Come on daddy!" Diana shouts as she pulls me down the hall.
Since she's shorter than me I find myself hunched over and practically tripping over my feet by how fast she's pulling me.
My cute, mini Ana and I is in a pretty purple top with a white ribbon around her waist, a big bow at the back and frills at the end of the top. She matches that with jeans shorts and purple sneakers. Her curly, brown hair is in a neat bun and she's wearing her glasses instead of contacts, showcasing her beautiful eyes.
She pulls me to the left and I look up to see blue door, a familiar blue door. It is the only blue door in the house, I remember the day Ana and I had painted it, wanting to add a personal touch to our favourite place in this complex.
I know where she's taking me now.
Diana squeals extra excited, pulling me as she takes off faster. I chuckle loving the life in this little girl. She's so bubbly and happy despite some of the things she's been through at such a young age. Not knowing her father, having to lie about Ana being her sister.
She deserves so much and I'm going to give that to her. I'm going to be the father she deserves.
Diana comes to a stop before releasing my hand and turning to face me. I look down at the smiling princess in front of me and I can't help smiling too.
"Okay. Now close your eyes and no peeking!" she says as she folds her arms over her chest.
I observe her, watching as her lips twitch and her eyes glisten with elation. Her eyes and hair are from me, her nose and those cute, bow lips of hers from her mom. The rest is all hers, the face of her face, those chubby cheeks and her elf-like ears —not that they're that unbelievably pointy.
"Why do I need to close my eyes, princess?" I ask looking to pry information from her and ruffle her a little.
"Because it's a surprise and you need to close your eyes," she simply replies looking expectantly at me.
Playing along, I close my eyes and she reminds me not to peek before I hear the door opening. She takes hold of my hand again and pulls me into the room before I hear her closing the door.
Her feet tap as she moves around and I stand there eyes close, not wanting to disobey my little princess.
A few seconds pass yet my eyes are still closed, I hear giggles, shuffling and whispers as the time ticks by and I can tell that Ana is here as well.
"Can I open them now?" I ask and Diana giggles uncontrollably not replying to me.
"How about you Ana? Can I open my eyes now?" I ask and Diana gasps.
"S-She's not here!" she says trying to cover up the fact her mom is here. "It's just me daddy..."
"It's okay Ki-Ki, no need to cover for me baby," Ana says to our daughter.
"B-But he wasn't supposed to know!" she says and I can just imagine her pouting.
"It won't affect the surprise baby... Stop pouting," Ana replies before a smooch sounds and Diana is giggling again.
"Okay..."
I hear footsteps coming towards me and a familiar sweet, addicting scent surrounds me. Ana.
"Okay, so I'm going to guide you to a chair..." she says hands on my shoulders and she pushes me down.
As soon as I'm seated I pull her along with me, Ana landing in my lap.
