It was the summer of love in Riverdale. School was out, parents couldn't care what their kids do, everyone was having a fun they weren't going to forget.

"Your so full of shit Fred." Alice took a drink of her milkshake looking at Fred.

There they were; the core 4 sitting in Pop's having lunch with each other like they do everyday. Always talking about people, debating stuff, or even just talking. They would go everyday just to have lunch.

Hermione Lodge the rebellion catholic. Her parents were rich and of course catholic. Wanting her to be that special little catholic girl. She always hated being known as the 'Catholic Girl' at school. Her parents were very strict, but she couldn't give a damn. She would smoke and drink, but act like a good person in front of her parents. They didn't like the type of people she was hanging out with.

Fred Andrews the local boy. His dad died about a two years ago, leaving him and his mom all alone. He always say's he's fine when fathers day comes or any type of holiday. He is the boyfriend of Hermione Lodge. Her parents of course don't like him, mostly because his father worked for her parents, but left leaving Hermione and her family to almost got broke. Fred the the person to put a smile on your face, make up random stuff, and help other's through anything.

FP Jones the next serpent king. His mother left him and his father, causing his father to turn into an alcoholic. He would beat up FP until he was pleased then go back to drinking, he'd probably drink 6 beer cans a day, maybe more. He doesn't care if he dies from drinking. FP couldn't care either. FP is that bad boy towards others, but it a total sweetheart when you get to really know him. He just doesn't show his true colors to others, only his two best friends and his girlfriend.

Alice Smith, the bad girl. She is the girl to cause all the problems. Anything that happens people always think it's her. Most of the time she really did do that. She has a small little crime on her file. At the age of 14 she vandalized Riverdale High with a can of spray paint. When she was 15 she stole stuff from the local mall just down the street from Pop's. She stopped stealing stuff and focused more on life. She still get's into trouble, but not with the police. Her mother and father are both alcoholics. She moved out when she was 15, getting her own trailer.

Everyone had a a different way of living in Riverdale. Hermione the rebellion Catholic, Fred the artists, FP the hot serpent boy, and Alice the bad girl, causing trouble everywhere she looks. They all shared one thing in common that would change their lives forever, but that's not till the later on in their lives.

Alice sat in the booth, her blonde curled hair resting on her serpent jacket. FP's left cast around her as they looked at Fred. Hermione was sitting across from FP, her hand glued to Fred's hand like she was afraid to let go.

"I'm telling you I saw the bear when I was hunting. It was the big brown thing next to a tree." Fred looked to Hermione before looking at Alice trying to prove his point. Alice rolled her eyes knowing she was right.

"Take a picture then bring it to me." Alice put her milkshake on the table. She reached her hand out. She wanted evidence that he really saw the bear. Fred looked at her hand, her fishnet gloves covering her hand. He reached out shaking her hand.

"Deal." He replied towards her. Hermione smiled, she was hoping Fred would win, but she knew Alice would easily win. "What do I get if I win?"

"I'll get the thing you wanted since you were little." Alice moved FP's hand from her shoulder down to their laps, holding tightly together. Fred's face was shocked for a little bit. "Not joking."

"Hey guys, we have to close now since it's the Fourth of July. We have to clean." Pop said walking over to them.

"No problem." Hermione pulled out her money putting it on the table.

Each day one person has to pay for the meal. Hermione is on Tuesdays, Fred is Monday's and FP is Wednesday. Thursday's they all pitch in. Everyone get's the same meal, so everyone knows how much they have to pay each time.

"What time are you guys going to the lake to watch the fireworks?" Alice looked to FP smiling a little bit.

"Were going to be there around 2." FP got onto his motorcycle starting it up. Alice climbed on sitting behind him. He drove down the streets of Riverdale. They arrived at Alice's trailer since it was a little closer. He shut the door behind them, before quickly kissing Alice dragging her to her room.

They laid on the bed in sweat. The hot temperature in the room, and they special activities they had just done. The blanket barely covering Alice's body as FP laid they his arm wrapped around her. He kept pressing small, but meaningful kisses on her collarbone.

"We should go before we do all this over again." Alice turned her body towards him. They only looked at each other, not saying anything, but they were reading each other through eye contact.

They got dressed grabbing everything they needed for tonight. Alice was grabbing the bag heading towards her truck. Fred had bought her a truck when she turned 16, she was so happy she couldn't stop thanking him for the truck. They arrived at the lake seeing tons of people there, but mostly on the other side in the shade. She was Hermione and Fred already in the water.

"Seems like you had some fun." Fred pointed to Alice's messed up hair. She flipped him off causing him to laugh. Alice pulled off her shirt and shorts, causing some boys from a group to whistle at her. She got into the water hoping to just talk, but that plan was over when FP splashed her and Hermione.

They sat on the sand, the stars shinning on the lake water. It was dark around them except for the bright full moon shinning on them. Alice was laying on FP's back, watching the fireworks. The loud 'booms' and 'bangs' made everyone's heart jump a little. Mostly the loud ones.

"Alice." FP whispered into her ear. She turned her head to face him better, seeing the firework colors light on his face. He pulled out a ring looking at Alice. Her heart stopped for a second. She wasn't exactly ready for this moment. "I wanted to give you this promise ring."

"I thought you were proposing for a second." Alice looked at him. He shook his head chuckling a little. He stood up from the ground, he helped her stand up as well.

"I want to give you this promise ring, as a sign of my love and that you mean a lot to me." He slid the ring onto her finger. She looked down at it for a second before kissing him softly. He wrapped his arms around her waist try to bring her closer to him. He broke the kiss ready to finish his sentence. "If somehow in the future we break up, I want you to know that I will always love and support you through everything this. This ring is a sign of our friendship and love. Beside's you and Hermione already have one for each other, why not put on on their for my love."

This night was a night to remember. This was a memory they both wouldn't forget, not even if they could try. This night was about love and friendship. That small little ring meant something to the both of them. That no matter what, he'll always love her for everything.

I was honestly thinking about turning this into a story or something like this. Cause I had this plan to tell about the past (before this) and towards the future and how they are in the future with kids. Cause I was wondering if I should, cause I'm on hold on everything else. Please let me know.

Okay now I go and do 10 of my assignments. Sorry this took forever. I had an original plan for this, but I went into a different direction and I like this way better than before.
