Tendou Yagami turned his eyes, not knowing where exactly he was. But he knew for sure, this wasn't reality, it couldn't be. He blindly walked forward, the darkness now covering over him as he stepped into it. He wasn't afraid, there was even a bit of peace within him.
With every step he took, the voices seemed to get closer. Though dark it was, Tendou Yagami's body continued to move towards the sounds. He could hear vague words now, yet they also seemed incoherent.
It was weird. It definitely wasn't Japanese, yet his brain seemed to understand what was being said.
"When the peach blossoms bloom once more, I hope you will still remember me."
In front of Tendou Yagami's eyes, the image of a man with long, scattered white hair laid on the bed. Holding him was a man with dark black hair, his hair held by a crown and he was dressed in gold clothing.
And then, the white haired man's eyes suddenly began closing, his arms falling to the side. The man holding him grasped onto him tightly, his lips white and pale as the corners of his eyes turned red and he closed his eyes as he held the man.
Tendou Yagami grasped his heart in pain, a dull aching pain was felt from his heart. It spread as his head began aching, the image of this scene seeming so familiar. His heart was racing, and he didn't understand why. What was happening? Where was he?
From the side, the sound of a baby crying could be heard. Tendou Yagami turned to see a baby by the bed, next to the man whom had just passed away. He walked to the baby, noticing that the boy seemed very similar to both of the men.
The sound of a door was heard as it opened. A woman stepped in, dressed in what seemed like Chinese clothing, though Tendou Yagami couldn't tell what dynasty it was from.
"Your Majesty, the Imperial Noble Consort?" The woman asked as she stepped inside, and seeing the body of the man who laid on the bed, she stopped and froze.
The man, no, the Emperor was who Tendou Yagami believed he was. The Emperor closed his eyes, "Bai Mengxiang....has passed."
Bai Mengxiang was the Imperial Noble Consort. And though Tendou Yagami didn't know how high the ranking was, he was able to tell that something was very different. Gay marriages were acceptable, and some of the men were different. That could only mean that some of the men could give birth as there would be no explanation for why two men were alone in the bedroom with a baby.
As Tendou Yagami began realizing more of this, his breathing sped up. The ache in his head continued to worsen as the words that the two people exchanged were now hard to hear.
The scene changed... a young boy walked over to the Emperor, perhaps around the age of four or five.
Tendou Yagami watched closely. Bai Mengxiang, whoever he was, he felt familiar yet different. And he was gone already.
The Emperor looked the same as before, seemingly not aging yet his eyes held a somber light within them. He looked at the boy who walked in and opened his mouth to say, "Xu Wuhui, have you finished your classes?"
Xu Wuhui, the child of the Emperor and Bai Mengxiang. Tendou Yagami watched on, wondering why he was seeing this even though he knew that it had to be related to him somehow.
Xu Wuhui looked very much like both the Emperor and Bai Mengxiang, more in the turn that his face looked very similar to the Emperor's but still held the features of Bai Mengxiang.
"Father, it's your birthday. The Royal Banquet has been readied, Xiao Lan has asked me to remind you that grandmother wishes for you to go." Xu Wuhui walked over to the Emperor who froze in his actions of reading the many scrolls on the table.
