You walked back into your room and threw the last box into your closet. "What's his name?" Bakugou asked. You looked over at him and took a seat on your desk chair. "Eiji. He says he's going to be the number one hero one day," you giggled."hm...Finally finished unpacking your damn room," he grumbled. "Yea! It took a lot less time then I thought it would!"
"That's 'cause you're just too damn lazy."
"I am not!"
"Yea, you are."
"Am not!"
You frowned up at him but then just broke out into laughter. "You're such an idiot!"
He blushed slightly but quickly looked away. "Yeah right, you're the idiot."
You wiped a tear from your eye and let out a few more giggles. "You've become like my best friend in such a short time...but I don't know how! You're like a pomeranian!" you broke out into another fit of laughs as you compared the two in your head. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!" Small explosions broke from his palms.
A small 'watch your profanity' could be heard from down the hall. "I'll kill you, you little shit!"
You snickered and wiped yet another tear away. "Hah...my parents will probably be home soon. Next time I have to go to your house."
He stuffed his hands in his pocket and turned to walk out of the room. "Yeah right!"
"Let me walk you home!" you grabbed your jacket from off your chair and followed him to the front door. "No. Why the hell would you do that?"
"Because! It makes more sense when it doesn't make any!" you snickered and opened the door. He sat there, completely confused and couldn't help but let out a little chuckle. You skipped across the road and spun back to look at the blonde who trudged behind you. "Come on! You got to live a little! Smile!" you ran back over to him and smiled. "You're an idiot." He covered his face. It took you a minute to realize he was hiding his smile. "Hah! I was right!"
"Right about what?" He asked, tilting his head in a questioning manner. And with a closed eye smile, you responded, "You really are adorable!" you giggled.
"You're dead," he muttered before chasing after you with explosions coming from his hands. You quickly ran the other direction down the road, laughing at his angry self.
(Bakugou's POV)
"You really are adorable!" She giggled with a closed-eyed smile. Her smile...why was it so contagious. Whenever she smiled, why did I want to smile? Whenever she laughed, it was like I wanted to laugh with her. Why? What the fuck is going on?!
"You're dead," I muttered.
She quickly took off down the road as I chased after her, explosions from my palms echoing in my ears.
The moment she twirled around, her smiling self was right in front of the sunset. The mix of oranges and reds cast perfectly upon her, the dirty white shirt she wore seemed perfect. Her (h/c) hair that fell just passed her shoulders, her bright (e/c) eyes that put the stars themselves to shame, and even her goofy laugh.
Her laugh was like music to me, like a song that is so rare that when you find it, you want to play it over and over again. Yet unlike music, it could never get old.
Everything seemed to be in slow motion. Is this what it's like to live in the moment?
"And...drop!" She yelled over. I quickly snapped out of it as I looked up to where she had been pointing. The small blob of water dropped from where she had placed it. "Hah! I win!"
(y/n POV)
He just stared at you, the tiny droplets of water still sprinkling down. "You ok?" you asked, jogging over to him. "You sure you won?" He smirked as he kicked the water on the ground at you. "Hey! No fair!" you pouted. He only chuckled as he walked over to his house. "I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
He shrugged and walked into his house. "Who the fuck knows?"
"JERK!" you yelled with a small laugh.
He's cute...

"(y/n)...you seem like you're in a good mood," your mom commented, noticing how you were still smiling. Eiji chuckled and you glared down the table at him. "I told you, mom, I don't have time to be mad. Smiling is all I got!" you grinned. Why does that idiot still have me smiling?
"I'm proud of you."
Mom smiled down at her meal. "You don't happen to be smiling because of that 'friend' of yours, huh?" your dad smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at you. "Dad!" you complained, your cheeks growing red for some odd reason. "What friend?" mom asked, eyes shooting between the two of you. "No one. I was just teasing her."
You sighed and took your empty dishes to the sink. "You going to bed already?" your mom asked. "Yea...I'm having some guests over tomorrow to help them study, is that ok?"
Her eyes widened as she looked over at dad. "Y-Yea! Of course! I don't remember the last time you had friends over."
You nodded and went back up to your room. It wasn't that you were tired and needed to go to bed but you used your quirk and probably needed to rest.
You opened your closet and brought out the medication you had hidden and brought it into your bathroom. You opened the box and read the description. "Take two at night before bed. Huh...this is different. I should probably take an extra one tonight," you mumbled, noticing a pink slip of paper in the bottom of the box. 'Hey, (l/n)! Your new medications will be in this box. Please note that these will only be a temporary fix-'
You threw the note into the trashcan next to your sink. "Frick you too..." you mumbled. You took the meds and chugged the cup of water.
A small knock could be heard on my door. "(y/n)...can I come in?"
"Yea," you closed the bathroom door behind you and took a seat on your bed. "What's up, sis? Didn't know you were here."
"Mom is hiding something about what happened at your last appointment and I want to know what," She stated plainly. You smiled at her and laid on your back. "It's nothing, really-"
"(y/n). Stop lying to me. I am your sister, dammit!"
You flinched and sat back up. "Misa, I-"
"No more lies. What the heck did the doctor say?" She hissed. "He-"
"What's going on here?" Mom peeked in, noticing the tension. "I want to know what you two are hiding. Just tell me...please."
Mom glanced at her then over to you and gave you a small nod. "Fine. No one else can know, understand?" you questioned. She nodded.
Then you explained it, something you didn't want her knowing. Cause everyone has the same reaction, no matter who it is, it's like it's a copy and paste kind of thing.
"Oh my gosh," she cried, covering her mouth with her right hand and wrapping the other around you. "Y-You should have told me! I-I'm so sorry."
Why are you sorry? It's not your fault.
She looked at me with tear-filled, pitiful, eyes.
Stop looking at me like that.
"I-I'm so, so sorry." She buried her face in the crook of my neck.
Please stop apologizing, it's not your fault. I hate how everyone does this. Why is everyone like this?
But you didn't say that. You didn't say any of that. You simply brought her into a hug and comforted her. It's the only thing you can do when this happens.
