Isaac's P.O.V

We were both great swimmers, and we wanted a day off from the Olympics team. So what better place to go to than the beach? It was a bright Summer day, and the beach was pretty crowded, but that didn't stop Haley and I from having the time of our lives! We had races in the ocean, we built amazing sand castles, and Haley had even taught me the best ways to catch hermit crabs!

Looking over at her in the midst of all of this, that was my favorite part. Her smile lit up her face, her laughter ringing like beautiful music in my ears. Surely, I thought, this was the girl of my dreams. As we were digging in the sand for seashells, that's when the trouble started. Haley yelled out randomly, and I look over to see her covered in sand. There were three boys behind her, the one on the middle had kicked sand on her.

"What was that for?" She asked.

"Just because you're butt freaking ugly, girl." The boy on the left said. Haley's face fell for a minute.

"Shut up! I do the talking!" The middle boy said. He was obviously the leader, being larger and probably stronger than both boys behind him.

"But yeah, he's pretty much got it down." The middle boy continued.

"Pathetic worm. Why are you even here? This is our beach! My dad owns this land!" The obvious bully stated. I saw tears prick at Haley's eyes.

"She's here because I brought her here! If you have a problem with her, take it up with me!" I yelled at the boy. He slowly turned to look at me.

"You wanna fight me, you little rat?" He spat.

"Well, not really, but I will if you don't leave her alone!" I said. With a cocky smile, he punched me across the face. My back hit the sand, a bit of blood splashed from my lip.

"Isaac!" I heard Haley call.

"Shut it, girl!" I heard the bully call. How dare he bully her. How dare he bully my girl! I shot back up, ready for more.

"Oh? What's this, the rat wants another beating?" The bully sneered.

I smiled, an idea forming in my head. I ran toward the bully, and as he threw another punch, I ducked perfectly. As he pulled his arm back for another try, I swung my foot and kicked him in the.... well.... weak spot. His face twisted into a grimace as he crumpled to the ground, making a noise that sounded like a dying washing machine. The other two smaller bullies gasped and were frantically asking if he was ok. I ran over to Haley.

"Are you Alright?" I asked her. She nodded vigorously.

"That was awesome!" She said, not even sounding a bit hurt.

I let out a chuckle. I crouched down in the sand, my face right in front of her's. She blushed as I gave her a passionate kiss. Then I helped her back up.

"There. Now I've returned the favor." I said. She looked a bit confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Remember when you saved me from drowning? Well, I returned the favor just now." I explained. She giggled and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you." She said, playfully rolling her eyes.

"Don't mention it." I replied.
