Goodbye

Lloyd's POV

After a while, Kai went back to his home- I stayed outside.
I watched through the window, as he cried and yell as he threw things on the floor.

"Kai..." I whispered softly to myself.

That's it. I'm done not trying to do anything for him. I really care for him so I need to do something!

But what exactly can I do?

I turn my head away from the window, as I stared at the messed up red ninja. His hair- no gel. His face not washed. His clothes not clean. Kai was a total mess.

Our eyes locked together

Kai's POV

I stared at Lloyd's green emerald eyes, losing myself in them.
He looked away, flustered even. Kind of cute.
It made me snap back to reality.
My wife and child died.
I should say my final goodbyes.
"Lloyd..."
I quietly said as I looked away from him- a bit ashamed from the state I'm in.

Lloyd's POV

I couldn't help but flinch a bit as he called my name.
I looked back at him, coming close to him, a couple feet apart.
Finally, away from his window.

"Yes, Kai..?"

I replied back a bit nervous.
Did he catch me looking at him? Is he upset ? Does he want me to leave?

Is this how we say goodbye?

"I...."

He said in a more serious, but gentle voice.

"I want to...say goodbye."

Kai finally managed to say, it wasn't long until large clear tears started to fall from my eyes. It ran down my cheeks and onto the floor. I wiped them away quickly.

"I-If that's h-how you feel...t-then fine..!"

I yell at him with all my anger and sadness into my voice. Kai finally looks at me, our eyes meeting once again. His eyes- were also filled with sadness.

I looked away and sighed, wiping the tears that did not seem to stop from coming down.

"I'll just... I'll just go.."

I turn my back away from him and slowly walk away, then run away.
Before I can get far- A hand grips onto my wrist, causing me to stop.
I turn around and I see him, his face looked like a helpless puppy.

Kai's POV

My legs suddenly moved on their own, I held on tightly to Lloyd's wrist. I never wanted to let go of him.

Why?

"Lloyd.. I.."

I couldn't find my words.
I couldn't say a thing.

Lloyd pulled away from my grip.

"I get it, Kai, I'm leaving.."

Lloyd said through sobs, then ran once again. This time I did not run after him. I was in pain and shock.

A/N: Hello!! Sorry I took so long to make this small chapter. uwu;; I kind of deleted almost all my social media and decided to take a break from the internet. I finally am coming back. June 30th I'll get back my social media and become active once again.
But, it was 5:18a.m and I couldn't sleep.
So- I decided to make this chapter =w=;
But- I didn't feel like drawing the picture until later uwu after I'm done sleeping aha-
Ahaha- thank you once again! :)
