In the basement

I grab the hand and try to push it away. The hand goes back to its owner and I spread my arms to feel where that person is. I get pushed and fall on the ground. Someone in front of me pulls me back up.

Wait. Are there two people here?

"Don't push Dais. Hello, are you okay?" I can't speak. I try to, but I can't. "Who are you?" "Don't waste any time on her. We need to find a way out." The women in front of me sighs. "You've been looking for a way out for the past four days. Come and comfort this other women who just got here." I touch around and feel two arms. My mouth is so dry that nothing comes out of it. I can't help but panic and I start hyperventilating. "Woah! Relax. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth." I calm down after a few minutes and I feel around me to see where the two persons are. I can't hear them, or feel them. I hear one of them stands up and walks around in the room, the other sits next to me. I try to talk but there's not much coming out. "Are you deaf? Wait, if you are you can't even hear this so me asking this to you is like super stupid! I'm stupid, I know that but still.. Anyway, can you speak?" I nod, but realise she can't see it. "Yes." I say. Finally my speaking works again! "Oeeeh she can talk Dais! Yay!" I smile. "Who are you two and what are you two doing here?" I hear the woman walking towards us, and she sits down in front of me. "Well, I'm Daisy. I was dumped here three days before you, and I have no idea who our kidnapper is. The last thing I can remember is that my car stopped working and that some dude asked me if I needed a ride, but I can't figure out who that dude is." Daisy stands up and starts walking again. "I know who he is. I saw his face, I've been in his house for a week or more now." I hear her stopping with wathever she's doing. "Do you know him?" I feel her staring at me, even known it's too dark to see anything. I shake my head. Oh wait she can't see that. "No. I've met him in a bar and we had.. eum.. a funny night. And the next day I woke up in a dark room with someone else and I think he killed that other person. After that he came to get me, but he told me it isn't time for me yet and he also called me the perfect one or something. He threw me in a room with some creepy doll. And I found a box there... OH!" I feel the girl next to me grabbing my arm. "What?" I feel in my pocket and get out the bracelet. "I found this bracelet with a name on it." Her grip gets stronger and with a really concerned voice she asks. "Which name?" I feel like I'm on so much pressure right now. "Anabelle Felusius" she lets go of me and Daisy walks towards us again. "What is your name?" She asks me. "My name is Ally, but you can call me Al." Then she turns to the other girl and asks the same. "Wait, you two have been here for four days now and you still don't know each others names?" I hear Daisy laughing. "She never tells me her name, I don't even know how long she's been here." I look at the other girls direction and after a long pause filled with silence, Daisy finally says something. "At least tell us how long you've been here. Or why you don't tell your name." She sounds very annoyed. "I've been here for too long, he never lets go of the one thing he never had." I hear a deep sight from Daisy. "She always says that."

Somewhere else in the house

"WHERE IS THE DOLL!" He shouts at himself. "It needs to be here!" He sits down and puts his face in his hands. A tear rolls down his face, and he whispers something. After a minute of sobbing he looks up and there it lays, the doll he lost. How could he have missed that? He grabs it and looks at it. Such a sad doll, all black. But such a  beautiful face, and that beautiful blond hair. He brushes through the hair and touches her face. "You were pretty. You were strong. You were sweet and you were perfect. Now you're ugly, now you're weak, now you don't even smile and you are gone." He smiles at it and stands up. He opens the closet and finds the pink box he placed there, but it's on a different place than where he left it. Then he opens it and searches for the bracelet, but can't find it. "Where... How?" He puts the box away and takes the doll with him. He walks out of the room towards the white door with the pink flowers. He opens the door and enters the little room, he lays the doll on the bed and makes sure her dress is perfect and her hair falls perfect too. He walks to the door, but turns around one more time before closing the door. "Goodnight Anabelle." He whispers. Then he turns off the light and walks towards another door, he opens it and a high scream from a woman fills the hallway. The scream gets cut off by the door falling shut behind him.

In the basement

"Did you hear that?" Daisy whispers. "I heard footsteps above us. Maybe..." the girl with no name sights. "What are you thinking now?" Daisy moves closer towards us. I still can't see her face good, but I don't care. "Maybe we can escape through that room." I think and nod. "But how can we be sure there is an escape?" Daisy grabs our hands. "We can't. But everything is better than rotting away in this basement, waiting for our psycho up there to kill us." I stare in the darkness and finally stand up. "I think we should try it after he is out of that room. I heard a scream, so he's probably going to kill someone. It might seem bad, but it is a perfect chance for us. We have around half an hour before he comes back." Daisy stands up too, only the girl with no name stays on her place. "How do you know we have half an hour?" She asks me, like I am the one who's kidnapping her. "When I first got here he took a girl, after, I think, half an hour he came back to put me somewhere else. So I think he'll be done in half an hour. But I'm not sure." I look at the roof. It's too dark. We hear footsteps and a dragging sound, then a door slammed shut. I count to 30 and then I jump. "What are you doing! What if he hears us?" I jump again but I can't reach the ceiling. "Fudge pops!" I jump again but the ceiling is too high. "What does fudge pops mean?" The girl with no name asks. "Wow she talks." Daisy answers in a sarcastic tone. "It's just something I read in a book. Ignore it. And Daisy be nice, we're all under the same circumstances. So... how long are you two?"

After much trying, riding eachothers backs and falling on the floor we finally got to the roof. Daisy and the girl with no name aren't that good at teamwork, but they're longer than I am so they can reach the roof better than I can. "What now?" I hear Daisy saying. I think and look at the roof. "Can you see something eum... no name?" "Nope." The girl with no name shakes her head. "Daisy, move to the right." Daisy steps to the right and almost falls, but she finds her ballance when no name holds on to the roof. "Here's some light, let's see..." She moves her head in different directions and looks into the hole. "It's a room, with a bed. I see some dried blood on the floor and there's a window! But..." Daisy and I look at her and say the exact same thing. "What is it with the window?" She looks down and Daisy puts her back on the floor. "He closed the window, and not just closed, the window is hammered shut. With wood and stuff." An odd feeling fills my body. "That's my fault. I am the reason we can't escape. Fudge pops!" Daisy and no name look at each other. "What do you mean... you're the reason?" Daisy asks. "I climbed out of that window and ran away in to the woods, now he shut it to make sure nobody else will do it." Daisy comes closer. "Wait, you escaped?" I nod. "And he found you back?" I nod again. "How...?" I explain about his wife, but leave his daughter out of this. I don't even mention her name. "Okay... so no running to any house. We can't trust anybody. Let's find a way to get through the ceiling, shall we?"

We found out you can't just break through a ceiling fast. And silent. We tried everything, but we ended up full of bruises and scars. We sat down on the ground and started talking. No name didn't say much, and sometimes she looked up at the ceiling, thinking. Daisy and I ignored her and kept talking about our lives before we got here. Our talk got disturbed by the basement door flying open. The light burned on my skin and in my eyes. After getting used to the light I looked up again. And there he stood. At the top of the stairs. He was wearing easy jeans and a blue shirt. The shirt was full of blood. I looked at his hand and he held a knife in it. Daisy screamed in terror and tried to hide, but he walked downstairs really fast and pushed me away. He found Daisy and he grabbed her by her arm. He took her with him and after a few minutes we heard high screaming and a body falling. After that we didn't hear anything anymore. Of course we would never see her again, but we only just met her. So no name and I pretended like she was never here in the first place. After a long time, no name finally talked to me.

And no name kept talking, telling me things you wished you never knew about the psychopath.
