Fukases pov
As I was about to get run back, telling them both its safe I saw something in the corner of my eye. I headed towards the thing and I realized what it was. Is that Vflower? I'd take a closer look at corpse. It must be Vflower. But then... Who's-.. No. NO! FUCK! I started running as fast as my legs could take me back to where we were. How was I so stupid? How could I have trusted it? I won't let it take Oliver. I cannot let it take him! I'd run and run, faster than I've ever done before to get back as quickly as possible to Oliver and "Vflower". I wanted to punch something. Myself. Anything! How could I have been so stupid!? I'd finally be back at where they were sitting but all that was left was blood trails and Jerry? "Jerry!" I said and he squeaked with an anxious tone. "I'm so sorry for not even paying attention to the things you said... We'll get him back, no matter what." Jerry would start flying where the blood trail was leading while I was running. I can't leave Oliver. I just can't. Something about him is so special. He doesn't deserve this... I'd grab the axe on my back and start to run with it. If I encounter any monster I'll just kill them right away. I don't care. That's when I started to hear laughter. "You-ou killed him! Yo-ou did it!!~ it's your fault, stupid head!~ anyone could see that she was a stalker!" Yuki would laugh. I couldn't see her, she was not in my way either so I didn't care. I care about one thing. Oliver. I saw a faceling in front of me. It was not Yuki. They had green short hair. They didn't move, so I sliced them in half and continued on running. "Kasee.. He was my friend! That was mean." Yuki said. I don't care. I don't care... Jerry would start to get behind me so instead of flying I'd feel him land in my hair. He'd squeak nervously. They can't have gotten far. I'd run, and run and run until I hear another voice. It's not Yuki's. "Why are you running? Did you lose him?" Kiyoteru. He was standing in front of me. "Give me 1 reason not to slice you in half like I did with that kid." I said. "Well, I completely sure I know where that boy is." He'd smirk. I'd stop running and tackle him down. "DON'T think I'm going to play nice with you just because you know where he is. You better show me and be right about where he is, or you're dead." He'd laugh. "Hah! Like you'd have the guts to kill your own dad! I CREATED you to be like this! If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have met that boy in the first place!" My blood was boiling. "DON'T TRY TO MANIPULATE ME. IF IT WASNT FOR YOU, I'D BE FINE. THE REASON I MET OLIVER DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH YOU." He wouldn't stop laughing. "You're so easy to anger! Did you not get enough love at home...?" He'd say. Enough with the small talk. I'd stand up and hold his wrist. "You're showing me. Doesn't matter if you want to or not." I told him. "I was going to anyway, you're the one slowing us down." He'd start walking and I'd follow him. "Why should I trust you on this?" I asked him. "Well, I got kicked out of the scientist colony." He said. Hah, kicked out? That fills me with nothing but joy. "Well, if it turns out that you don't know, you'll end up dying a very painful way anyway." I said. And we'd be quiet again. I hate even standing near this man, but if he knows something, it's just best to follow. "Why do you know? Did you see him or something?" I asked him. "Yes, I actually did. It was too busy dragging him to even notice me. I'm also sure where they're headed because I was in a stalker territory not far ahead at all. But eh, I'm sure he's not dead yet." He said. "Is he alive? Was he hurt? Where?" I asked him, desperately. "Well.... I'm pretty sure he was bleeding from his left eye quite a lot. I don't think that it'll ever work again. Besides that I didn't see much injuries besides you know... The leg thing." He smirked again. Stop trying to anger me. Stop trying to anger me. Calm down. Calm down. I'd try my best to ignore his extra comment. "Move faster, we don't have all day." I said and he'd sigh. "You're in such a hurry all the time. You'll just forget about this guy in a month or two, it's not a big deal." I'd try to breathe normally. "If. You. Think. That... Why. Are. You. Helping. Me?" I asked him, trying my best to keep calm. "Because I know what you are. My chance of dying is much lower if I'm around you, because of the lucky thing I witnessed!" He said, sounding happy. What the hell is wrong with this man? How can someone be this terrible? I know that comes from someone like me who kills things for fun but... He's way worse than I'll ever be. While we were walking I'd hear growling, there must be a Hound nearby. I also saw the smirk from Kiyoteru's lip slowly disappear. Fucking coward. Though it is a good thing he knows about Olivers whereabouts. After awhile, the growling would get louder, and louder until I saw the weird humanoid dog thing. As usual, it started to rant about that one should not mess with space and time, blah blah blah.. That stuff. I'd start to run towards it and chop it with my axe until it was no longer moving. That would've felt great if I didn't. If I didn't know about what's even going on at the moment... "Jeez, you'd have to kill it that brutally?" He asked me. "Yes, I'll do the same to you if you don't shut up and let me do my business." I said and he just rolled his eyes. Laughing could be heard again. Yuki is back. "Idiots!~" she'd cheerfully sing. Then she was in front of me. I'd swing my axe at her but then Kiyoteru yelled: "Fukase, please don't!" and she was able to teleport away. "Do you know how annoying they are? I was so close to killing her." I said, extremely annoyed. "Yes, but she's your sister..." He said, disappointed. "And I'm your son. Has that stopped you from doing anything to me? No." I'd tell him while still being extremely annoyed. "Well... Look. I haven't been completely honest..." He was saying, like it'd be a surprise to me. "Wooww.. So unexpected." I said, sarcasticly. "The point is, that you're not my son. I never adopted you, I never got you through marriage, no, nothing." What? "Then why so you call me your stepdad? Why did you tell me you raised me until we got here?" I asked him in a very angry tone. "Well. Fukase, listen. The idiotic person that I am just now realised what we were doing is wrong. And I'm sorry for that. The truth is; We found you. As a normal survivor. We wiped your memories away and we made you into a cyborg." I'm a cyborg? Well I guess that explains things... But. "How did I get my scars? You told me I got them in a car crash as a kid." I told him, I really just wanted to know more... "Well, after we changed a bunch of things, you weren't ready enough. You almost got killed by a monster, and that was because of your emotions. You were kind and you had it hard killing things, so a monster was able to hurt you. We did save you though, but it was decided that you needed to change. We tried to make you into a non conscious being, but that was unsuccessful. You turned out to be pretty emotionless instead, which worked for the us all. This is where the point you started to exist, while the other you died. First you were fine with working for us, it was your only purpose, until you discovered those documents; subject number #20 Satoshi Fukase. Age: 17 country: Japan. And with that other info you probably remember all that. Well, In just a week or so, you escaped with another less experimented subject and two subjects that hadn't been experimented on yet." I was trying to process everything I just heard. I wanted to just stop walking for a second and then punch him. But why is he telling me this again? "Why are you telling me this?" He'd sigh. "I wanted to do one good thing in my life. I wanted you to know." He was looking sad. I will never be able to forgive him for what he did, but I'm thankful he told me. "Let's just keep on moving." I said.
"Fukase, we're soon here." Kiyoteru said. "Okay, great. No time to waste." He'd start walking faster (Jesus christ, finally.) And I couldn't stop thinking about how Oliver must be feeling right now. He's probably stuck in a cabinet or wardrobe, extremely afraid and lost. Maybe he's unconscious even? Maybe he's- no. No he's not. Stalkers usually wait a bit to eat after they've attacked. He must be fine. He must be fine. Why do I care so much anyway? There must be a logical explanation... I mean, I did care about Len, Piko and Flower but not as much as I care about him. I'd try to go through my memories and see if anyone has mentioned something like this before when I remembered the thing with Len, Piko and Flower. Piko told me how much he liked Flower and how he cared about her, etc. I didn't really understand. Len did the same about Piko. I didn't understand either. Is this what they meant? Is this what a so called "crush" is? I like him? I guess... That'd be logical. I... Like him. Kiyoteru would snap me out of my thoughts. "Hellooo??? Were here now. Start looking, or do you not care? That stalker could be here anytime now." Kiyoteru said. "Yes, right. Let's look for him." I've been to stalker territory before, but this was so big. There were cabinets, wardrobes and even lockers everywhere. Jerry would jump off my head and start to look through the see through cabinets while Kiyoteru started with the lockers. I went down to the wardrobes and started to open them one by one. Mummified corpse, mummified corpse, mummified corpse. So far there's only been mummified corpses. I won't leave until I've looked through every. Single. Thing. In here though. Mummified corpse, mummified corpse. Then I heard Kiyoteru; "He's here! Come quick." And I'd run over to where he was. I'd look into the locker Kiyoteru was pointing at and see him. His fluffy and beautiful blonde hair was now messy and filled with blood. He was unconscious, but he looked afraid. One of his eyes had been stabbed, it was awful and guilt stabbed me harshly. That's my fault for being naive. I told him not to be naive. But because I was naive this happened to him. I'd grab a pair of bandages from my pocket and wrap them around his eye, maybe that'll be best for him at the moment. I'd pick him up in bridal style and look for stalkers. No stalker is there. "Alright guys, let's just go." I started to hastily walk, hoping to get away from here as soon as possible. Kiyoteru is a reason I found Oliver though, so I can't just leave him here, even if I so desperately want to. We'd walk, walk and walk, hoping to not meet up with that stalker. I mean, if we do, I am NOT leaving Oliver out of my sight this time. I'd think that we were finally out of danger, until I heard it. "That's mine. You're not taking that A̶̘͆N̵̩͝Y̸̡͒W̶̙̆H̶͔̍E̸̬͂R̸̜̿E̴̺͊" the stalker would scream. "Kiyoteru, run. It's slower than us." I told him, but he even stopped walking to look at the monster, I slowed down to see what the hell he was doing. "Take me. Leave them alone and take me. I'm bigger than that boy. Take me." what? "Kiyoteru you idiot that-" He stopped me. "Just do it. I know how much you like betrayed food. Leave them alone and take me." Has be been betrayed? What? What's going on? Why is he doing this, we can just outrun it... "Why? We can just outrun it." He looked at me, crying and smiling. "It'll never stop until it gets it target unless there's no compromise. I lost my wife to it even after saving her. I'd rather do another good thing in my life than letting this thing murder him. If I compromise, it'll leave you two alone. For the first time ever, I smiled at him. He's not being a coward this time. The stalker would nod. "Alright." It said. "I'll take him. Goodbye." I'd wave goodbye to Kiyoteru who was looking like he accepted his fate. I'd look away and start running while they were walking the other way. I'd whisper to Oliver; "You really... Really change people's hearts."
