"Hm... vacations coming in a few days..." Kuga sighed, fanning himself as he sat on a chair, staring outside. It was so hot that he, nor his members had the energy to use the kitchen. "It's so hot... I wanna go swimming... i want an ice cream..."
"Kuga Terunori! Are you present?" A loud voice boomed and Kuga immediately shot up. "Kuga Terunori!" The person exclaimed and Kuga rushed outside.
Right outside stood an old man, his bear reached his chest, his mustache hiding his mouth, his eyebrows were also long, hiding his eyes. His head lacks hair. He knows who this person was. How could he not? He and a few of his elite ten members just got into trouble with one of his family.
(L/N) Masafumi. One of Totsuki's official, Pastry and Sweets RS sponsor and you dear old grandpa. And also the one who sent him that (not)scary letter.
"You, you're Kuga Terunori." He spoke, walking closer to him, immediately towering over him. Now he knew where you got the height from. "You, you're the one who has spoken to my granddaughter, correct?"
"Y..yes..?" Kuga answered, trying to walk away. Some of his members were hiding behind a pillar, peeking to see what was happening.
"... I see..." Masafumi muttered, standing straight and looking inside the building. "Boy, serve this old man one of your dishes." He said before strutting inside and taking a seat in one of the various tables laid around. "Well, you're the eighth seat, serving this one measly old fossil should be no problem."
"Yes, sir." Kuga said, going to the kitchen. 'Well now I know where (Y/N)-chin got that attitude from...' He thought, getting his station ready, already thinking of something to make. 'If you want my specialty, then that's what you're gonna get!'
Kuga had a sinister smirk as he cooked, his members standing in position, their faces filled with worry.
"Are you sure it's okay to serve that to an old man?!" One of them whispered.
"Dude! Don't just say that!" The other whispered, telling him to shut up. "That's not just any other old man! He's one of Totuki's officials!"
Masakumi sat on his chair, waiting for his food. He opened one eye and peeked in the kitchen. He was sure that he saw hell there for a few seconds. 'Sichuan cuisine... Mapo Tofu is what you're going to prepare. Very fragrant. A spice master. And... my dear little (Y/N)'s friend! Ah, how are you doing my little angel? Have you packed yet? Have you given your uncle a scolding for suddenly returning to japan and not telling you? Do you want another restaurant?'
Masafumi began to emerge in his thoughts, thinking of your cute little smile that he hasn't seen in ages. 'Hm... still, he's the second person to make you smile my dear.... But this time... he won't leave.'
"One Mapo tofu!" Kuga cheered as he placed the plate in front of Masafumi. "Here you go, sir. It's my specialty!" He said with a smile. Masafumi nodded, taking a spoonful and placing it in his mouth. "So, how was it?"
Masafumi took a deep breath and nodded a few times. "Yes... yes... hm..." He kept muttering before standing up straight and placing both his hands on Kuga's shoulders, making him struggle with the weight. "YES! You, boy, are a very passionate chef! Your cooking shows you as a person! You are perfect! Perfect! Ohohohoh!"
'Perfect? I know I'm perfect, but which perfect are you talking about?' Kuga asked, trying to keep his head from falling off because of Masafumi's constant shaking. "Thank you, sir... but can you please stop. I'm starting to lose my lunch..."
"Oh, sorry, sorry!" He panicked, taking his hands back. He coughed awkwardly, taking something from his kimono, an envelope. "Boy, I, nor my wife and son have heard my granddaughter's voice in years. I'm giving you this." He handed him the envelope. "Please do come, I'm sure she'll like having a friend over. And you can bring some of your men with you."
