Sarai leaned back into the massage chair while the tech was starting her pedicure. ready for her latest gossip. "So, Travis came to my house last weekend after he left your house."
"Drunk? He was drunk when he left my house and he was supposed to Uber home." Sarai was sick that night. We weren't going to have our regular movie night, but Sarai insisted that we movie it up as usual. Travis did leave my house a little tipsy from the crafts that night. We all were hence the can release from Alium. Sarai smiled and sipped on her Starbucks frappe as Jenn leaned over on the other side of me with her iced mocha, "Wait. Travis actually popped up at your house?" Sarai kept sipping on her drink staring at her feet, "Mhm." Jenn waited for Sarai to spill more and so did I, but she kept it zipped whatever it was. I leaned my head back against the massage chair and closed my eyes, "Well, I'm glad your feeling better, Rai." I smiled and laughed, "We would have left your ass home while we all left to Vegas." Sarai laughed pushing her hair back, "I would have a showed up to Vegas with a tissue up my nostril and everything." Jenn and I laughed because she wasn't lying.
"You gonna be alright on that flight, Bri?" Jenn looked at me concerned about my fear of flights. "You don't need to announce it to the world and remind me that I hate to fly." I chuckled a little and sipped my drink shaking my head nervous at the thought. "I'm sorry, I'm just making sure you're good." Shut up, Jenn! "Nothing a few shots before the flight and on the flight can't take care of." It was true, I'd be fine after taking a shot with everyone. Everyone being there in general is comforting, but I've got my trusty flight buddy and he always makes sure I have what I need to have a comfortable flight.
"Are you guys all packed? Because I'm not." Sarai laughed. "Rai! We're leaving early in the morning." Sarai always packs last minute and when we get to our destination, she forgets a thousand things. "Well, I'll be there on Sunday afternoon." Jenn smiled. "I can't believe you have to go to work on a Saturday, Jenn." Jenn was called in from the school district to handle some things for the school we work at. She sighed and shrugged with her straw to her lips, "Anything for those kids." I smiled because I'd probably do the same.

"Wait, wait, wait. Bri is gonna foster Sophia? Isn't that cheating on the whole purpose, Trav?" I set my beer flight down and looked back at Skye, "No, you twat! I'm getting the license." I see Skye is still a skeptical shithead. But I can't really blame him considering the me he is used to.

Ryan took another glass from the flight looking at the haze, "Remind me what this has to do with Brianne?" I stayed quiet and looked over at Mase and Skye as I leaned back into my seat and grabbed my brew. I could tell Ryan noticed the look all too well and smirked as he drinks his brew. "Nevermind." He smiled setting down his glass. Dick, you know. He was just giving me a bad time.

Mase rested his foot up on bench, "So let me get this straight. You kissed Brianne? And she didn't kick your ass?" He chuckled lightly and sipped on his hazy. I half shook my head and I wasn't gonna lie to them, "Yeah, I did." I said with a smile staring at my glass, "And no. She didn't kick my ass." I raised the glass to my lips and chugged two full large gulps of 8% volume of brew. Might as well have taken a shot of Hennessy. Skye is slightly confused but in his mind, he catches on after a moment. "You're a dick Trav! Why the fuck would you do that to her?" I looked right at him in challenge, "Do what?"
Skye sat across the table studying me and I knew he was assuming the absolute fucking worst of me.

"You are a dick Trav. You know she's gonna catch feelings with you. What a stupid fucking idea for you to think she's only in it for you to teach her how to be sexed up." Mase shook his head and finished his flight glass. I was getting fucking agitated now, "I know what the fuck you're all thinking and you're all out your fucking bloody minds if you think I don't feel anything for Brianne or would treat her the same way I would ever treat any random girl. Fuck!" I paused in realization that I just confessed to everyone at this entire fucking brewery and the place got quiet for a moment. Mase grabbed his brew again, "Fabes is gonna whoop the shit out of you, man." He broke the awkward silence around us. Thank fucks!
"Fuck off! Fabes isn't gonna know and if any of you snitch I'm gonna kick the shit out of all of you. Except for Ryan because he'll whoop my ass." Ryan laughed, "I'll kick your ass if you hurt Brianne, let's just get that straight."
I nodded with a laugh in agreement and continued to finish my beer.

S.F.O. Airport

It's a Friday morning and all are chatting shit about who will be the most drunkest, who will pop and e pill first, who will be the first to get laid. A very interesting and productive conversation that got us absolutely nowhere but more excited to get the hell on this flight. Sarai had a cringed look on her face as she spotted her ex-boyfriend on the opposite end of our gate. "Oh shit, he's coming over here! Sarai, run." I joked laughing but when I saw he really was striding his ass on over to Sarai, I stopped. I left to the bathroom before I beat the shit out of him. When I came back he was still talking to her and I saw her roll her eyes. She looked like she was ready to punch him in the throat and that would have been hilarious. I stuck my hands in my hoodie pocket as I leaned into Fabian as he eyed her ex with daggers and I laughed at him, "Is it rude to pop an e pill in someone's mouth while their talking?" Fabes turned to me with a side eye that wanted to punch me and I laughed even harder.
When it was time to board, I turned behind me and looked over at Bri where she sat. She's is scared to fly and I could see the slight nervousness in her eyes. She was trying to keep it as cool as she can, but she can fool everyone except for me. She was sat with Sarai and Ryan as she sat window-side with Ryan at her side and then Sarai next to him at the isle seat. I took my seat in the row right behind her at the window. Jen wasn't on this flight because of a work thing, but she'd be there to meet us the next day. I threw my EarPods in my ears and in my peripheral vision in front of me, Ryan popped up like a goddamn meerkat in the desert only to tell me, "I need to trade with you, man." I took my earpod out, "Why?" He showed me the back of his hand and little crescent fingernail marks were already shaped like artwork from Brianne. I chuckled and got up and nodded.

I heard the caption of our flight speak and I woke up. I let go of Brianne's hand and I looked out the window to see the morning of the Las Vegas strip as we started to descend.
