THE BIGGEST TRIP the Rowe sisters had taken outside of New York were usually to visit their mother's side of the family in France or to their summer home in Italy. In any case, the family never really went as far as to travel within their own country aside from perhaps a visit to California as children. The charming suburban living of Columbus, Ohio was completely foreign territory to them, which the girls took as being the reason why their parents didn't seemed bugged to not come along.

Stacy could only assume the trip was meant to be part of Alex's plan to propose to Diana. Her sister wasn't exactly clueless towards this and was not helped by the youngest sister fueling the passionate flame. "Oh, I bet it's some small town little place he'd had planned since he was in high school!" Stacy said and clutched her hands innocently, "I could only imagine it being so romantic."

"I think you've got Alex confused with someone else, the boy has only one thing on his mind. I don't think he's had a proposal planned that far ahead," Arabella joked to have Stacy snicker under her breath over the small truth behind the statement, "But he is an overachiever so it's always possible."

Diana ignored her sister's comments and continued to try and seem as if the circumstances of their stay didn't preoccupy her mind. "Oh, really. He's not proposing to me, I doubt it!" She shrugged her shoulders with a sigh for Stacy and Arabella to exchange a similar glance to one another. The two already expected a but to come after this statement simply from their sister's behavior. "But we have been dating for awhile and it's been more than serious and I've been so happy with him— it wouldn't be all that surprising."

Not wanting to spoil their sister's happiness over the situation, the sisters went along with the enthusiasm and didn't stop her from making the small assumptions they thought to be true. Arabella nodded towards Diana to egg on the situation. "Definitely wouldn't be surprising of course."

Her sister had begun to worry over her own state of affair with her relationship ending the way it did, but Arabella seized the opportunity of being out of the city for awhile to ignore the deception as best she could. Similar to Stacy avoiding her college trip plans to tag along with her sisters as well considering they needed her company anyways. What was meant to be a trip for just Diana inevitably became a retreat for all of them to hideaway for some time.

The girls pulled up to the airport being greeted by Alex and his father holding up a sign towards them eagerly as they laughed over their enthusiasm for their stay here. Pairing up to take Diana under his arm, Arabella couldn't help to feel slightly ignored by the boy not immediately looking to her first as he usually did. Catching herself in doing so caused her to be flustered as a result since it shouldn't have bothered her. He wasn't her boyfriend and he was barely even a friend.

Stacy noticed the way she was bothered by this and commented on it beside her. "You alright? You've gotten all red?"Arabella nodded silently to tuck herself in the back seat of the car with Stacy and Diana as the sisters and a third of the Keatons took the drive up to their home.

PULLING UP to the Keaton household soon enough, the Rowe family was greeted by the same faces they'd first met when they came to visit Alex in New York. Having prepped them this time around to seem somewhat of a good-natured appearance, he seemed to do this in vain as his family was dressed as they usually were.
