Prolouge

The sun was shining over Auradon. Prince Ben was staring out the window while Lumiere measured him for his suit. "How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby." King Beast said as he entered the room with his beautiful wife. "He's turning 16, dear." Belle said before their daughter walked inside as well.

"16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was a least 42." Beast joked making his daughter roll her eyes. "You decided to marry mum when you were 28." She spoke making her mother smile as y/n walked beside her brother. "And you as well 16, I can't believe we have twins becoming kings and queens." Belle said making y/n smile.

"Mom, Dad." Ben tried to walk forward but Lumiere stopped him. " I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Everytime I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." Ben spoke making his parents look shocked.

"The children of our sworn enemies? Living among us?" His father questioned making y/n step forward. "We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. we've already chosen them." With that her father huffed. "Have you?" He asked making Belle turn to him and remind him that she once gave him a second chance. "Who are their parents?" Belle asked making the twins sigh.

"Cruella De Vil...Jafar...Evil Queen...and Maleficent." Ben said making his parents falter at his words. "Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!" Beast shouted making y/n jump. "Dad just hear us out." "I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes!" He stated sternly. "Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad?" Ben and y/n said simultaneously.

Belle and Beast stare at each other as if having a mental conversation with each other. "I suppose their children are innocent." Beast sighed. After their parents left the room Ben looked back out the window to the Isle. "If you keep staring I'd think you'd want to live their." Y/n said causing Ben to chuckle. "Thank you, for helping me with dad." Ben said making y/n smile and place a hand on his shoulder.

"Are you excited to be king?" She asked him making him smile. "Well I've only been preparing for it my whole life." Ben said making his sister chuckle. "Maybe but I'm always here for you bro, but...not right now. Fairy Godmother wants me to help her get new dorms ready." Y/n spoke making Ben smile and nod before she left the room causing Ben to look back out the window.

Mal steals candy from a baby making everyone celebrate and cheer before running away in fright. "Hi, mom." Mal says turning around to face her mother with Evie, Jay and Carlos behind her. "Stealing candy? I'm so disappointed." Maleficent said. "It was from a baby." Mal stayed making her mother proud.

Maleficent then took the lollipop from Mal and spit on it before shoving it under her armpit and sending it back to the baby. "Mom." Mal complained making her mother shush her. "It's the deets, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil. When I was your age, I was cursing entire kingdoms. ¨Cursing entire kingdoms¨. You. Walk with me. See, I'm just, just trying to teach you the thing that really counts...how to be me." Maleficent told her daughter.

"I know that and I'll do better." Mal explained. "Oh, there's news! I buried the lede. You four have been chosen to go to a different school...in Auradon." As Maleficent said this Jay, Evie and Carlos all tried to run being stopped by three men. The four VK's complained about not wanting to go before going back to their home and packing.

And soon they would be in the place that changed their life for good.
