Chapter 11 ~ Fencing

Your POV

"And BEGIN!" Lonnie shouted. Two boys instantly came at me making me fall into the spilts and trip them both. I rolled onto my back and kicked up landing on Jay's back and fought off another person before I flipped off of Jay. I quickly ducked and saw Chad's sword hit Jay's so I tripped them both and rolled over to Carlos.

Our swords clashed and he swung his other arm at my head and missed. I pushed him off before turning around and disarmed Gil who was behind me and turned back around dodging Carlos' attack. I hit his sword with one of my own and hit him with my other sword. I then ducked and saw a sword got over my head.

I fell into a bridge and swung a sword over my head but Harry jumped over it. I flipped into my feet and turned clashing my one sword against Harry's. I jumped onto a box and we kept fighting before he grabbed my leg as I went to kick him. He flipped me and I landed on my feet on the other side of him. "Rule number one. Never let your enemy get the upper hand." I said before dub king and swinging my leg making Harry jump.

"Rule number two. Always keep your eye on your enemy." I said as I quickly put my sword behind me hearing Harry's sword clash against my own. I turned around and we pushed our swords against each other. I leaned back bit making Harry smirk and kiss me. "Rule number three." I said before he went to kiss me again. I pushed him off of me which made him land on his back. My foot landed on his sword and mine was pressed against Harry's throat.

"Never get distracted by your opponent, no matter who they are."  I said of breath. Everyone clapped making me bow before helping Harry up. "If only you could join the team as well." Lonnie said making me smile before handing her the sword. "Ok boys hit the showers get changed! Practice is over!" Lonnie called making all the boys go to the change room.

Lonnie left me alone to go change making me smile. I turned towards the door and smiled to myself crossing my arms before I felt a hand on my hip. "Hey princes." Chad said making me turn around and smack his hand off. "What do you want?" I spat making me smirk. "Just a kiss, please?" He begged holding my waist. "No and get your hands off me." I said removing his hands just to have him put them back.

"Get off of me." I said before he leaned in. "He said let go of her, so I suggest you let go of her before I make you." I heard Harry say. Chad rolled his eyes and let go making me run towards Harry and hug him. Harry wrapped an arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "Come on guys." Carlos said. Chad and Harry were glaring at each other before we left with Gil, Jay and Carlos.

"Thank you." I said to Harry making him smile. "Want to go back to your dorm?" I asked him making him nod. "I'm gonna be with Gil and Jay if you need anything." Carlos said making Harry and I nod. We walked back to Harry's dorm and closed the door behind us. I sat down on Harry's bed and he did the same.

"Hey y/n?" Harry asked making me look at him and smile. "Yeah?" I said smiling. He smiled before speaking. "I was wondering, when we were with your parents, why wouldn't your father let you speak?" He said making me frown a bit. "Well he wants me and Ben to be proper. So I was taught to be a lady, a respectful diligent, smart, perfect woman who doesn't say her opinion and keeps to herself." I sadly explained.

"Ever since I was little he favoured Ben. My brother always tried to include me but my father never really let me join in. My life has always been arranged and controlled. So I thought that picking the one I get to marry would be my choice, but it's, not." She said making me wrap my arms around her. "Well we just have to show him that I'm the perfect candidate." Harry said making me smile.

I laid my head on Harry's shoulder and intertwined my fingers with his. Harry kissed my head and there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Harry said. The door opened and we saw Mal and Evie enter. "Heyyyyy." Evie said making me smile. "How's your first day going Harry?" She asked as she sat down on a chair in front of us. "Fine, I'm on the fencing team now, I met y/n's parents-" "You already met her parents? Are you even officially dating yet?" Mal asked as she sat next to me.

"Umm, no." I said and Harry's face was bright red. Evie smirked at this and so did Mal making me also turn red. "Anyways, did you get along?" Evie asked making Harry tense. "Well, bro exactly. Belle was, a bit shocked and Beast well, we had a conversation but I don't think he appreciated me speaking about what we were speaking about and my opinion on that matter." Harry said making me groan and flop back on the bed.

Evie and Mal looked at each other with worried glances. "What was the matter you discussed?" Mal asked before the door opened and Gil, Carlos and Jay walked in. "Hey guys what are you talking about?" Jay asked making me groan again. The three boys looked confused before sitting around the room. Gil sat on his bed Jay sat on the stool beside it and Carlos sat on the floor next to Evie's chair.

"How did you discussion with y/n's parents go Gil?" Evie asked making him frown a bit. "Well they wouldn't really let y/n speak, but Ben did most of the talking with Beast anyway. When they found out who our parents were they weren't pleased but they they talked about y/n's arranged marriage and-" "WHAT!?" Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay shouted.

I groaned once more and hugged Harry. "Y/n your having an arranged marriage?" Mal asked me making me sigh. "Is this why you had an argument with Beast?" Evie asked Harry making Jay and Carlos confused. "Yes!" I shouted before Harry took off his jacket. I grabbed it and curled into a ball underneath it.

"Mind explaining?" Jay asked making Harry sigh. "After we finished talking about Gil and I y/n's father brought up the fact that she was going to be married to Chad Charming. She went to decline but her father made her stop talking until I had my say on the matter. So now y/n has a month to find a candidate before she has to be married to Chad." Harry explained. Everyone stayed silent and looked at me hearing a sniff.

Evie stood up and lifted Harry's jacket off me. Everyone then sadly stared at me while I was curled into a ball crying. I let a sob escape my lips before I felt myself being lifted up off the bed and into someone's lap. I let more sobs escape my lips as I latched onto the person. "It's ok lass." Harry said and kissed my head. Soon everyone joined in on the hug.

I cried and everyone soothes me and told me everything would be ok. Eventually there was a knock on the door. It opened to reveal Ben. He walked in talking before seeing my state and stops. His whole face drops and he runs towards me. Everyone let's go of me and I jumped into Ben's and cried.

His arms were tightly wrapped around me and it was like no one else was in the room. What felt like forever soon ended and Ben set me down on the ground and rubbed his hands down my arms and frowned. "What happened? Do I have to get someone out of Auradon? Who do I need to go beast on? Tell me and they will be sent to the Isle." Ben said making me shake my head.

"Well I mean I don't really think you can send mom and dad to the Isle but if you can send me there for a while they would be great." I joked making everyone frown. "What's wrong sis?" Ben asked. I frowned. "Why have our parents been controlling my life and not yours?" I asked him quietly. Ben lead me back to the bed and sat me down.

"What do you mean controlling your life?" Ben asked. I then explained everything and everyone listened. I soon stopped crying and laid on Harry's bed. The girls ended up going back to their room and Ben had some duties to do. Gil left with Carlos and Jay to play video games so is was just Harry and I.

"Y/n." He said seeing me laying motionless. He poked me and I sighed. "Yes Harry?" I asked not moving. I felt the mattress sink beside my head I looked up and saw Harry over top of me. I smiled and played with his hair. "Can you make me the happiest pirate in the sea, and become my girlfriend?"

I smiled and cupped Harry's face in my hands. I leaned up and kissed him. "I take that as a yes." He said and I laughed. "Of course." I said and kissed him again. Harry wrapped his arms around my back so we were pressed against each other. His lips were soft and it felt like pure bliss.

We both smiled into the kiss. I rolled over so I was on top of Harry and sat on his lap never breaking the kiss. My hands went to his shoulders and his went to my waist. He pulled me closer to him and we piled away from much needed air. I rested my head against his and we both laughed a bit. I smiled and felt Harry kiss my forehead. He laid down and I curled up next to him, hugging him tightly.

He wrapped his arms around me and we soon fell asleep to the should of each other's heartbeats.
