Y/N POV
I woke up from a loud noise coming from the common room. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, realizing that it was Hermione. Why would she be yelling? I sloppily changed into my robes and used magic to do my hair and bring me my toothbrush. As I scrubbed my teeth, I listened in to what Hermione was yelling about.
"I didn't do it 'Mione! I don't even like mint gum!" Ron pleaded. My eyes widened and I quickly put my toothbrush away.
"You chewed all of my gum! I know it!" Hermione shouted. I slowly slipped out of my dorm. I made my way down the stairs really slow, making sure I didn't make any sound.
"How do you know it wasn't Harry? Ask him!"
"HARRY JAMES POTTER YOU GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" She screamed. People were observing from a distance. As Harry made his was down the stairs I gave him an apologetic smile and he narrowed his eyes. I had finally made it down the stairs and started taking slow steps to the portrait.
"What, 'Mione?" Harry asked.
"Did you chew all of my gum?! You better not lie to me!"
"Y/N is literally right behind you with her guilty face. I bet she did it." Thanks for blowing my cover, Harry! Hermione jerked her head around and she had a mad face on.
"Uhh.. bye!" I said, before running out of the portrait. Hermione ran behind me and we dashed through the halls.
"Hermione please! We can talk about this!" I called, turning a corner.
"YOU CHEWED ALL MY GUM!" She yelled. I ran into the Great Hall and turned to the twins.
"Throw me some toast!" I called. They tossed some toast towards me and I caught it as I ran bye.
"Thanks!" I yelled, running outside to the quidditch field.
"I can buy you new gum, 'Mione! We can talk about this!" I said as I climbed a tree. I knew she couldn't climb very well, so I was safe.
"You better buy me new gum!" She called. Snape walked out into the field and over to us.
"What's going on here?" He asked.
"Professor help! She wants to kill me!"
"She chewed all my gum!"
"But I promised you new gum!"
"So you better get me new gum!"
"You're so serious about gum! It's stupid!" I called, climbing down the tree.
"You're stupid! Your hair is so long and soft!"
"And your hair is so fluffy! I want your intelligence!"
"But you don't need my intelligence! Your smart!"
"We're both smart! I'm sorry about your gum!"
"I forgive you!" We pulled each other into a hug. By now Snape was back inside the castle.
"What was that? Stupid argument for stupid people! Suits you perfectly." Draco said from behind us. We turned around to face him.
"Go away, Malfoy." Hermione said.
