Everything was going great. I asked Blaise to the dance and he agreed, seeing as we're friends, and we got matching outfits together. We've decided to dress in emerald green with gold lacing to honor both of our houses. It was a day before the Yule Ball and I was currently comforting my brother.
"Oh Harry, you should've known she would say no. She's way too out of your league." I told him.
"That doesn't make me feel any better, Y/N." He sighed. Harry had just asked Cho Chang to the ball and she turned him down because Cedric already asked her. I was kind of glad she was already asked, because I don't like her all that much. I guess it worked out fine in the end. It's a win-win thing.
"What am I going to do? I don't have anyone to ask, and I have to have a partner because of the dance." He complained. Oh right- Harry doesn't have a date... haha.
"Well, Ron hasn't asked anyone either so mayb-"
"Y/N! Gross! I am not taking Ron to the ball." I turned my head to the side to hide my smile.
"It was just a suggestion. I mean, what other option do you have?"
"I could always ask Ginny and I'm sure she woul-" I scrunched up my face in disgust. Standing up and flailing my arms I screamed:
"HiNnY wIlL nOt sAiL! NOT ON MY WATCH!" And booked it down the moving staircases.
"Y/N! What are you doing?!?!" He called, as he ran after me. The stairs started to move, but Harry wouldn't catch me. Not on my watch.
I quickly leaped onto a random moving staircase and turned around, seeing my brother with a look of horror on his face.
"You could've died!" He yelled. I pulled down my lower eyelid and stuck my tongue out at him.

I slid down the railing and heard Harry calling after me, but I didn't stop. Hinny isn't allowed in this fanfiction! Y/N.. I told you to not break the fourth wall anymore. I don't know what you're talking about..
Suddenly, I run into Draco and Pugface- I mean Pansy. She gives me this dirty look and pulls Draco along with her. There was something in his eyes, but I couldn't tell what it was. He quickly turned away.
I could here my brother approaching me, wheezing from all the running he had to do. I quickly start running again, hearing a loud groan from him. I snicker as I dash around the halls, thinking about how he was never going to catch me.
I was right, because he ended up tripping and falling. Obviously I laughed. What else was I supposed to do? Help him?
Hey everyone! I know I haven't updated in a while, and this chapter was very short, but I'm not coming up with much ideas.
