wedding day

Today was the day, after their hopeless pining in high school which led to them eventually getting together in senior year, and then getting engaged during college, and now they were getting married.

"So, are you excited?" Kevin asks. 

"Yes, I can't believe this is happening, I never dreamed that I would be getting married to the Veronica Lodge." Betty says, applying some blush to her cheeks. "I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle, I just know she's going to look amazing". "Thank you for being here for our special day, I'm so glad you've stuck by our side all this time".

"Of course, you know I love you guys". Kevin says. "I'm remembering sophomore year, you talking about crushing on Veronica". 

"Yeah, and then it took 2 years after that for us to get together". Betty says, chuckling to herself, "Was I that obvious?"

Kevin looks at her like he can't believe what he is hearing. "Uh yeah, you got so flustered every time she was around, you even got super clumsy and you got super enthusiastic every time you were around her".

"Wow, I really wasn't good at hiding my feelings". Betty says, standing up to look at herself in the mirror.

Kevin says, "You look amazing, and she's going to love it". 

Betty gives him a grateful smile walking over and wrapping him a hug which he gladly returns.

"Guys, the ceremony is starting, go up to the altar, she'll be coming down the aisle soon". Cheryl says, interupting their hug. "By the way, you look amazing cousin, I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks, it means a lot". Betty says. "We'd better go, don't wanna be late for the ceremony".

They walk out of her dressing room and into the main hall where the ceremony will be taking place. Kevin sits down next to Cheryl and Toni while Betty goes up to the altar waiting for everything to start. The organ sounds and everyone turns in the direction of Jellybean, who is walking down the aisle throwing flower petals unto the ground, accompanied with the bridesmaids. The ring bearer comes down the hall standing by Jughead, who Betty picked to be her best man.

Suddenly Veronica comes down the aisle, her arm looped with her mom as she walks her towards the aisle.

Betty looks up and sees her, her eyes fill with tears, she couldn't believe that she was with this incredible woman.

Veronica stands across from Betty, they grab hands, never taking their eyes off of each other.

The officiant starts the speech, "Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Veronica Lodge and Elizabeth Cooper in matrimony commended to be honorable among all; and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly, and solemnly. Into this- these two persons present now come to be joined. If any one objects to their marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace". He waits for a moment but no one objects. He continues, "And now, you two will say your vows".

"I, Veronica, take you Betty, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part". "I love you so much, and I promise to never stop loving you".

Betty smiles at her, unable to keep the tears from falling. Veronica wipes them away like she always does.

"And I, Betty, take you Veronica, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, I promise to love you no matter what, to support you and your goals and to respect you no matter what, and to cherish you as long as we both shall live".

The officiant says, "And now, we will do the exchange of the rings".

The ringbearer presents the rings to Betty and Veronica, "I, Veronica give you Betty this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you". She says, slipping the ring on Betty's finger.

"And I, Betty, give you Veronica this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you". She smiles at her, looking at her lovingly.

The officiant says, "Well, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss the-"

Veronica cuts him off by kissing Betty throwing her arms around her neck, while Betty has her's on her waist.

Everyone cheers as they pull away.

The officiant says, "I present to you the newly married couple, Betty and Veronica".

The guest stand up and cheer as the newly wedded couple walks down the aisle.

Betty says, "I'm so glad we're married". "You really changed my life for the better, if I had never met you, I would never know who I am". "I have you to thank for that."

Veronica blushes and ducks her head, "I love you, and I'm so glad I get to spend the rest of my life with you."

Veronica and Betty hold hands walking towards the carriage (yes they have a carriage :) ) Betty helps Veronica into the carriage before climbing in herself. 

Everyone waves after the carriage as it takes them to their honeymoon. Veronica presses her lips to Betty's as they ride off into the sunset; very much in love and finally married at last.

A/N- The oneshots end here, I had such a fun time writing these but it's time to end it, I have a beronica story that I'm writing so please go read that one when it's posted, thank you for supporting my writing, it means everything to me. Sorry if this is cliché or inaccurate to weddings, I really don't know how weddings work but I tried my best.
