First kiss

In all of her life Betty had never kissed anyone, it seemed like everyone around her had already done it but she hadn't.  

Every time someone asked her who her first kiss was she would lie and say Archie because he was like a comfort blanket. Not in the literal sense but metaphorically because they were best friends and they felt safe with each other.

On this particular day, Betty and Veronica were at Betty's house playing truth or dare.  Veronica had already prank called her math teacher,  and she had told Betty about who she dated back in New York. 

Veronica turns to Betty and says, "Truth or dare?" Betty pauses for a moment before she says, "Truth".

Veronica says, "Tell me about your first kiss".

Betty looks at her and says, "Nah I pick dare".  Veronica says, "Nope you're not getting out of this one,  just answer the question".

Betty was prepared to tell the story she made up about it being with Archie but ultimately decided against it because Veronica can tell when she's lying.

Betty looks at her nervously and says, "There's nothing to tell because I've never kissed anyone".

Veronica says, "Wait what?" "You've seriously never kissed anyone?"

Betty says, "Yeah, surprised?"

Veronica says, "Yeah actually but only because you're gorgeous and I can't believe no one has kissed you".

Betty says, "Well you and I are friends and you've never kissed me".

Veronica smirks and says, "Do you want me too?"

Betty blushes and says, "Well I- I- I don't know".

Veronica says, "You're adorable." She walks over towards her wrapping her arms around Betty's neck. She leans in and kisses her, Betty gasps before relaxing and kissing her back, she wraps her arms around Veronica's waist pulling her closer.  

Veronica pulls away smirking at Betty's very red face before saying, "Well, what do you have to say now?"

Betty says shyly, "You're good at that". "I didn't think this was going to happen, I mean I dreamed that I would kiss someone."

Veronica smiles and says, "You had dreams about that?"

Betty gives her a look and says, "Really?" "You got that out of everything I just said?"

Veronica says, "Relax B, I'm kidding but it's cute that you like me so much."

Betty blushes looking startled and says, "Hey, I never said that".

Veronica says, "You didn't have to the look on your face says it all; I mean it's true isn't it?"

Betty blushes and says, "Maybe a little". 

Veronica says, "Good, now are you gonna kiss me or am I going to have to make the next move".

Betty laughs and closes the distance between them.

Even though Betty didn't think this would ever happen it happened every day now; In Betty's room or Veronica's room, school hallway, Pops, and even in Betty's car. She got more than what she wanted but she wasn't complaining.
