Suprise

***** Jo's POV****

It's been so long since my family has been together in Australia. The second I land I'm filled with joy. The beaches in LA are nothing compared to the beaches in Australia. I can't wait to get in a bathing suit and just go sit!

"Jo Honey!" I'm broken out of my thoughts by my mom yelling for me.

"Hi mom" I say as I hug her.

"Oh my baby I missed you. How was your flight?" Mother asks

"It was fine,you know the international flights just get long and annoying" I sigh. The number one reason I don't  come back more is that long ass flight.

"That's very true. Your sister and father are getting lunch prepared for us and we'll all sit down and have a lovely family dinner once we arrive." My mother says with contentment in her voice

"That sounds lovely mom. I'm starving the airplane food is well airplane food. Even in first class" I smile as we walk toward the car.

"Nothing beats a homemade meal Josephine. I hope you're cooking for yourself and not just eating out." She sighs

" Yes mother I do cook a lot and if I'm not cooking Hero is,when we're together anyways." I say which reminds me I need to text him once I get to the car.

"How is Hero? I'm still upset you haven't introduced us in person." My mother frowns

"He's good. And We've been busy, we haven't had the time to come to Australia. I wish he couldn't came with me but he had some things to wrap up for a movie he's doing." I explain

"you can go to London but not Australia?" My mom huffs

"The flight from LA to London is much shorter that the flight from LA to Perth mom. Plus Hero actually has lots of work to do in London. Perth is just a leasure trip for both of us now mom you know that." I huff back to her

"I know I know I just miss my baby girl" she sighs and squeezes my cheeks

"Missed you too mom" I smile as I get in the car. I pull out my phone and text Hero.

"Hey babe! I've landed miss you wish you were here" xo Jo

The drive form the airport tot eh house goes rather quick and I'm greater with Katherine rushing out to me.

"Jo!" She says as she hugs me

"Kat I've missed you!" I say as we're embracing

"Same I'm excited to catch up" She says as we walk inside.

"Jo jo bear!" My dad says as I walk I tot he dinning room.

"Hi dad" I say as I give him a hug.

"So let's eat and talk?" My dad quickly adds

I check my phone before sitting down and see that Hero hasn't replied. Which is odd as he always answers even if it's the middle of the night. He must be in a meeting or something.

"So Jo tell us how things are going." My dad states as
We all sit down . I start the multiple conversations on what is going on. Then Kat and mom and dad course fill us in with their lives. We are about to finish up when the doorbell rings.

"Stephen are you expecting anyone?" My mother asks

"No are any of you gals?" My dad asks back

"No" we all reply at once

"Well Don't just sit here...I'll get it" I say as I get up from my chair and head to the door.

I open the door and almost jump out of my skin in excitement when I see who it is.

"Hero!" I say as I launch myself on him.

"Surprise baby" he says into my ear as I'm still attached to him.

"What are you doing here?!" I ask in disbelief

"Well we haven't seen each other in a month and get bad that I couldn't join you. So I rearranged my schedule to be with you and surprise you" He smiles as he runs his hands through my hair

"I love you" I say before leaning up to kiss him

"I love you so much" he smiles as he pulls away

"Mom and dad are going to be ecstatic you're here. Mom was just talking about you on the way form the airport." I smile as I drag him inside.

"Mom! Dad! Kat!" I yell from the entry way

"I'm excited to finally meet them" he smiles as he squeezes my hand

My family enters the entry way and stop in their tracks.

"Everyone this is Hero. I swear I didn't know he was coming" I give my family a smile

"Hero. It's so good to finally meet you! I was just telling Jo that I was disappointed you couldn't come but here you are!" Mom says giddy

"Yes I hope it's ok I'm here. I was able to reschedule things and decided to surprise Jo." Hero says nervously

"Of course it's ok. We're just finally happy to meet the guy making our Josephine so happy. I'm Stephen and you will call me that no Dr. Langford."

"Of course nice to meet you Stephen" Hero says shaking my dads hand

"And you've meet Kat" I smile

"Kat good to see you again" Hero smiles at her when she comes and gives him a hug

"You too Hero!" She says as they pull away

"Why don't you how him to the guest room Jo" my mom says

"What? Mom seriously?" I ask annoyed. They know Hero and I practically live together when we're in the same place.

"Yes Josephine it's still my house my rules" she huffs

"Ok fine...." I huff as I grab Hero and drag him upstairs

I push him into the guest room and lock the door.

"You're not sleeping in here." I say as I attach my lips to his

"I'm going to obey your mom Jo. I don't want to get on her bad side" he says in between kisses

"I'll sneak you in my room.....just like we did in Atlanta. It'll be fun" I smirk

"Need me that much huh" I feel him smirk against my lips.

"Yes and now is one of those times. Let's do a quickie." I say as I'm already taking his shirt off

"Eager Jo?" He smiles

"Yes very now be quick and quiet" I say as I once again crash my lips against his.
