I was so excited when Jo said she was here on business. We always have a great time when we're together.  We've had the talk about our feelings as we've crossed the friendship line, but we decided being friends is for the best. It doesn't help though when Jo is well Jo but it is what it is.

"Hero!" Jo yells and I quickly turn around

"Jo!" I yell back at her as she hurls herself at me

"Hi" I sigh into her neck God while does he have to smell so good and her hair have to be so soft.

"Hi" she sighs back

"So what are we going to do Mr.London." She smiles

"Well I was thinking you don't have to say yes but the guys are throwing a get together tonight and I know they'd love to finally meet you" I say

"Ok yeah that sounds good!" She exclaims

*********** At the party*********

"Yo yo Hero!" Alex yells

"Hey man!" I say giving him a bro hug

"I see you're finally letting us meet this beautiful girl" He says gesturing towards Jo

"Hi I'm Jo" she say

"Alex so pleased to finally meet you, let's introduce you to the others yeah" Alex says as he brings Jo with him.

I love my guys but I swear if they touch Jo

we've been here for a few hours now and the guys of course flock to Jo like she a piece of cheesecake. But she deals with it well and holds good conversations with all of them. I don't like it but I don't have the right to be jealous.... Do I? I mean we agreed nothing more than friends. But Fuck how can I not look and think about her when she's over there looking like that. I'm brought out of my thought when Jack pats me on the back

"Hey man" He says

"Hey what's up." I ask

"So I have a question" Jack says

"Ok go ahead" I nod

"Are you and Jo anything more than friends?" He asks and I almost choke  on my beer.

"Um no" I sigh

"So would you be ok if I like asked her out?"

FUCK NO!

"Um yeah that would be ok I guess, but I don't think she's going to want to" I lie to him

"Ok thanks man!" He says as walks over to Jo

I don't like this one bit

I mean Jacks a great guy so great I'd even let him date Mercy but......

Jo she's just she's supposed to be mine .

I watch carefully for what feels like forever when Jo starts walking towards me

"Heyyy" she says sweetly

"Hi, so how are things? You like they guys?" I ask her

"Yeah they're great! So um would you be ok if I went with Jack?"

"What?" I ask she wouldn't would she?

"He wants to take me to ice cream and then he said he'll bring me back to my hotel and I want to make sure that's ok with you" she sighs

It's like someone's stabbing me ,no, You both agreed Hero just friends

I sigh

"Um yeah I guess that's ok" I say scratching my neck

"Are you sure? If your not for whatever reason I'll tell jack no" she says as she starts to Rock her feet back and forth

"No it's fine have a good time" I sigh

"Ok I'll talk to you tomorrow after my meeting then ok?" She says as she hugs me goodbye. I don't want to let her go

"Bye" she says as she walks towards the door where Jack is

It's three am and I can't sleep. I can't stop thinking about Jo and Jack and what they're doing. Is he touching her? Is she letting him? FUCK this is driving me nuts.

I hope out of my bed and throw on joggers and a tshirt and decided I need to see if Jo's at her hotel.

Once I reach her door I pound on it until finally the door opens

"What the.... Hero what are you doing here? It's three am" she yawns

"I um...shit um....." I stutter as I walk past her and into her room

"What" she huffs

"I have to know did you sleep with Jack?"

"WHAT? Who do you think I am?" I yells

"Well I don't know I just.... did you?" I huff

"So what if I did! Why would that matter and why do you care!?!"

"Because he's my friend Jo and so are you and I just I couldn't stop thinking about you ok? It's driving me nuts thinking that he possibly had his hands all over you" I say as I run my hand through my hair

Even in this dark room I can see that her breathing has slowed and I hear her sigh

"No I didn't Hero....He kissed me but that's it but even then I couldn't stop thinking about you. How would you feel? How would this effect us?" She sighs

"Truly Jo....I'm not ok with it" I say as I walk closer to her needing her touch

"Then why did you say you were?" She says quietly

"Because we agreed....just friends...." I say as I reach to touch her face

Fuck I want to kiss her

"But if you can't stop thinking about me and you get jealous and I can't stop thinking about you" she says as she looks right into my eyes

"Then....what" I ask our faces so close our lips brush

"Then maybe we're more" she says and surprises me when she leans in and kisses me

"I want this" she sighs into the kiss

"Me too" I say as I push back into our kiss

This is it this is the moment that is going to change us.
