Thank you for 13k! I'm so sorry for the wait...
~Your POV~
It took me about a day (whether by car or by plane) to get to their house, seeing as California was quite the drive from S/n (state name). I follow my GPS until it tells me my destination is on the right and sure enough, a large house with many cars comes into view. Pulling out my phone, I double check the address, before texting my group chat with the boys to let them know I've arrived.
Carson comes out and spot me with a smile. "Hey!" I greet him, smiling back, and Ted and Noah come out too. They all welcome me, dabbing me up and hugging me. We grab my luggage and bring it into the house.
"Your room is right across from Cooper's. It was going to be a storage space, but it was never used like one so we got you a bed and a dresser and you can do what you want with the rest of the space," Carson explains, and I nod, both of us placing my luggage on my bed. I follow him out into the living room to see some familiar faces and surrounded by very familiar voices. "I'm sure you know most of these guys but here is Charlie, or Slimecicle. Charlie, Y/n," Carson then introduces me to everyone. I spot two faces I'd seen only from videos or streams, so I take it upon myself to become acquainted with the business entrepreneur himself, Schlatt, and Mason. The exchanges I have with them are short but amusing, as Mason cracks tons of jokes and Schlatt just complains about Ramen being poor people food.
Once I feel everyone is comfortable with me, I go to my room and put my hands on my waist. "Fuck. Why do I own so much," I laugh to myself.
"I can help you unpack," a voice behind me makes me jump, and when I turn I see Cooper.
"That would be a huge help, if you wouldn't mind," a soft smile and nod is all that is exchanged before we start unpacking my suitcases. We both steal glances at each other the entire time as I explain where I want certain things to go and he even helps me fold my clothes to put in the dresser that had thankfully already been bought for me, courtesy of the boys.
"So how does it feel to be out of your parents' house and out in the real world? You feel manly yet?" he sparks a conversation as he helps me build my gaming chair that I'd dismantled to bring with me. I feign offense.
"Are you implying that I was not manly beforehand?" I question, over-exaggerating my pronunciation, which makes him bite back a laugh.
"You are very, uh... I'm sorry Y/n but you're better suited for a flower crown than a beard, let's put it that way," he bites his lip and I blush when I notice.
"You're right with that one. So right, in fact," I stand up and grab a flower crown from one of my suitcases, "that I own one. And I don't have a beard. So there. You have officially told a true statement." He blushes red when I take out another one and put it on his head, which just makes me laugh. The chair being built successfully is our biggest accomplishment, and we end up talking and catching up for hours while we make my room feel more like mine.
"You really thought you could commit to a twenty-four hour stream? I'm sorry Cooper, but that burrito was a sign from the universe that you were not supposed to do that to yourself," I shake my head as I connect my computer and router to the outlet beneath my desk.
"Well you watched some of it, didn't you? It was amusing to watch, was it not?" I shrug, and he crosses his arms.
"Let's just say you're better suited for a skateboard than a twenty-four hour stream," I smirk, using his phrasing from earlier, the crowns still on our heads, and he scoffs.
"Oh you are going to be a huge pain in the ass to live with, I can tell already," he chuckles so I know he's joking, and I pout.
"Well you've always been a pain in mine. But I still love you. You just gotta learn to embrace the real me," gesturing with my arms, I wrap them around myself.
