"Garrett!" I shouted, this was starting to hit me, and hard. I didn't want him to die - he was my first friend, the man that helped me regain my vision and even cared about my well being before anyone else ever had. I couldn't lose him, and especially not by my own hands..

"Stop making this harder for us both, damnit!" Garrett shouted, he started to sob, and I could see he was becoming afraid of his previous decision.. "Just stab me through the A already! Stop making this painful!"

"I can't kill you!"

"You have too!" Garrett's tears were hurting me almost just as much as they were hurting him.. "Ugh.. Stop making this hurt, idiot.. Just stab me already.."

".. I.. I can't.."

"Please.." He had fallen to his knees, before looking up at me. "My father's waiting for me on the other side.. Please.. But.. Before you stab me.. Tell my mother and Aishi that I love them. Tell Adrian that I'm sorry I couldn't be a stronger husband, and tell Ellie I'm sorry I couldn't be a stronger father. Tell Claire that I should've been a stronger son, I shouldn't have put my morales before my life but I refuse to kill another. Tell Aishi I should've been a stronger brother, and that I wish I hadn't wasted all of those years we could've spent together. Tell Adderham I'm sorry for being a weak king, a king that was unable to even fight back.."

".. Garrett.."

"You don't have a say anymore." Garrett kept his eyes locked on me, and I could feel my bones shifting.. "Goodbye, Y/n.. Remember me."

Then it all went black, and I could hear the knife enter his A before hearing him fall dead..
